"Oppa?"

You arrived at his house quick enough, but it's dark inside. You started doubting he's inside. You doubt anyone is inside! It's too quiet and...well, dark and somewhat fragrant too. You turned the door knob and to your surprise, it's not locked. You stepped into the dark living room seeing almost nothing. Only the lampposts outside are the source of light.

"Oppa?" You repeated.

You suddenly heard a noise coming from the kitchen, something like feet moving.

"Who's there?!" You asked not knowing if you're actually talking to someone or not.

As you entered the kitchen, you saw lit candles on the floor making a path leading to the porch. There are rose petals too. The room smells heavenly. You heard a noise again which sounds like Mingyu sneezing. But it's just impossible for him to be here now so you shook the thought away.

"Y/N-ah," Someone on the other end of the candle-lit path said. Who else? Ofcourse the owner of the house.
"Oppa, what's this? Aren't you supposed to be resting, not decorating your kitchen? Why is it dark here?"
"I'm not sick, Y/N-ah. I'm just in love."

You still hear some noises in the room but you don't know where those are coming from. It's too dark to see anything at all. Also, you're too confused to focus on the noises.

"Y/N, months ago we met in a kitchen too, right? When I entered that apartment's kitchen, I felt something strange. And then, I saw you. And at that very moment, I knew that that girl in that kitchen before sunrise is the girl I want to see every morning after I open my eyes." He said as he walked towards before kneeling in front of you. He took your hand and said "I want to marry you, Y/N-ah, but I know you're not yet ready for marriage. So Y/N-ah, instead of asking you to be my wife, I ask you now, will you be my girlfriend?"

He took out a ring from his pocket offering it to you. He's smiling yet his forehead is sweaty. This confident idol is now a nervous man.

The room is lovely even in the darkness. The petals embellish the floor where you stand and where he's kneeling down. The light from the candles match the lovely scent of the room. But, you're thinking of a different scent. Your chest hurts like it's going to break any time from now.

You remembered everything from the start. The day when you met him. The days you visited him in the company building. The seconds you spent just staring at each other. And in the end, you realized you're thinking of not just one person, not just a him, but them.

The day you met them.

The days you visited them in the company building.

The seconds you spent just staring at their eyes as they stared at yours.

You spent your most precious moments here in Korea with those two men, one you used to live with and the other asking you now to be his special someone.

Should you let go and move on?

Or should you hold on and keep loving?

I'm sorry for the dramatic chapter. I used to write like this in my previous books. I just thought using my old writing style would match this scene. Short lines with a long one at the end. Many paragraphs. Yeah. Often used in sad and very depressing scenes. I used to write stories like that.

Also, I was never in a very serious relationship so I really don't have any idea how to make this romantic. Really. And because I'm not really good at romantic scenes.
