2.3: Guilt

You're still a little far from the building, but you can already see Joshua standing outside waiting for you. You feel so guilty. You immediately ran to him after getting off the cab. You hugged him tightly. For a moment, he just stood there. You started crying.

"Jagi, are you okay? Did something happen?" He asked you brushing your hair with his fingers. Too many things happened.
"Oppa, do you love me?"
"Ofcourse. I love you so much, Y/N-ah." He said hugging you back.

He kissed the top of your head and made you face him. He doesn't know what happened, but you know what you did. You're a cheater. He's an idiot for loving you. You're a liar. He's blind, too blind to see that.

"Do you love me, Y/N?" He asked you wiping your tears away.

You see his beautiful eyes looking at you. Those eyes don't deserve sadness. They should never cry. You don't want to lie, but you also don't want to keep him waiting. You tiptoed and kissed him. You don't care who sees you. He's your boyfriend. What's so wrong about kissing him? What's wrong is what you did earlier.

"What's that for?" He asked you as you pulled away, smiling.
"That's my answer. I'm going now. It's getting late. I think I should head home." You said avoiding his eyes.
"I'll drive you home."
"But you said you have recording."
"I did it earlier."

You let him hold your hand as you both walked to his car. Even as he drove, he held your hand.

"You look extra beautiful today, Y/N-ah" He said glancing at you for a second.
"Thanks." You smiled at him.
"Wait. What's this?" He said touching the kiss mark S.coups left.
You quickly covered it with your collar pushing his hand away. "Nothing! I...I think a bug bit me when I was sleeping. I woke up with that." You said hoping he'll believe you.
"Really? That bug is too bad on my girl. How dare he touch you, and bite you! I should watch over you when you sleep so I can kill that bug if ever he'll try to bite you again." He said.

You stared at him thinking if he's just saying that because he believes it's a bug or if he means he knows who did it and he's going to watch over you from now on so he can never do it again, never seduce you again, never take you away from Joshua. Then he looked at you and smiled. He doesn't know. He trusts you.

"Maybe I should buy bug spray for you." He said as he walked you to your apartment unit.
"You don't have to. I don't think he'll come back to bite me again. He already got what he wants." You're staring at his hand holding yours.
"What if it isn't enough for him? I'm sure he wants more. He'll come back for another bite. He'll always come back for more." Does he really don't know?
"I won't let him bite anymore." You said squeezing his hand. You're in front of the door now.
"Ah!~ That's better!" He said ruffling your hair.

You smiled. He smiled back, but you remembered Seungcheol's smirk. You quickly bid goodbye and went into your unit locking the door behind you. You went to the bathroom and took a shower. Your skin smells a little bit like him. Did Jisoo notice that? You stared at your reflection after bath. The hickey is still there, still too obvious.

You were a lying cheater, a guilty bitch.
But, never again, you promised.
