Cancer hopped out of her truck at the drop sight. Surprisingly, Taurus hadn't arrived yet. "And here I was thinking I was late." she grumbled, turning on the radio in her dull green pickup. The only radio station still active anymore was the Corporations channel, playing all kinds of music while making sure everyone knew that the Corp. is best in between songs. She sighed as a wistful love song came on. It reminded her of he says before the outbreak, her constantly looking for someone to settle down with. At 20 years, her curvy frame had brought lots of one night stands, but her intelligence pushed them away before long. A low rumble brought her out of her daze. A large truck appeared over the horizon, going faster than one would expect of a vehicle its size. A few minutes later, the transport groaned to a stop beside her pickup. She was startled at who she saw in the windshield. Leo, the famous gang leader and quickdraw sat behind the wheel. In the shotgun seat next to him, sat Sagittarius the sharpshooter. She grimaced at the sight of them. They were the two playboys of the wasteland, somehow finding time for women between surviving and traveling with their gang. Leo, the constant presence of his aviators making sure no one knew who he was checking out, with his witty humor and sometimes egotistical demeanor was always surrounded by women. Sagittarius on the other hand, sarcastic and constantly being a smart ass to everyone, only drew in the bad girls, his handsome face and white hair (a result of being hit by nearly eight tazers at once) helping out. Cancer didn't like Sagittarius that much, because he always tried to flirt with her when she wasn't interested. "Where's Taurus?" she questioned. Sagittarius grinned," Cancer. I'm gonna have to get my hands on that body one of these days." Cancer rolled her eyes," I'll be dead when that happens Sag." He sneered, opening his mouth to reply. Leo stepped forward, holding up a hand to stop them. " Taurus sent us to make this delivery Cancer. You got the cash?" he questioned. Cancer nodded, throwing a satchel to Leo. He checked inside. "Follow me." he said, going around to the back of the transport. They spent the next half hour loading the medicine into her truck. Then Cancer asked what she had been meaning to the entire time. "I need to speak to Taurus." She said. They turned to her with questioning looks. "Why?" Sagittarius asked. Cancer replied," Because, I need to ask him something." The guys looked at each other and Leo said," Okay, but your gonna have to be blindfolded, and I'm driving your truck." Cancer agreed and they loaded up, Cancer getting a black strip of cloth to cover her eyes. They began the trip back to the hideout.
