A LOT OF SHIT IS GONNA HAPPEN HERE
AND ALSO THIS IS PROBABLY GONNA BE THE LONGEST CHAPTER IN THIS STORY
kotaro's pov (bokuto)
I really, really love Akaashi for some reason. Yes, sometimes he gets really moody and ignores me, but I don't really care. I love him and that's it.I was driving, he was right beside me, holding my hand. We've been dating for about four months now.
Who asked out who? Take a guess.
"Bokuto-san, you seem to be not focusing on the road." He stopped holding my hand and sighed. he looked at the window beside him.
I chuckled, "Sorry, Akaashi. I was just... thinking of things."
"And those things are?" He turned his head to me.
I shook my head and smiled. "It's nothing important, really. Now go to sleep, we still have a few hours till we get to our destination. You better get some rest."
"You're tired too, Bokuto-san."
A few seconds of awkward silence happened.
Before I could stop the silence, Akaashi spoke.
"Hey, Bokuto-san.." he didn't face me as if he was trying not to show his blushing face.
"Yeah?" I glanced at him for a second then returned my eyes to the road.
"It's been about four months since we started dating... I think.. we should stop calling each other by our last names." His voiced seemed shaky.
Before I knew it, I was already blushing.
Me? Calling Akaashi... Keiji? That just... it seems so... different.
I agreed anyway. "Y-yeah, we should stop. So, um... Keiji.."
"W-what is it, Koutarou?" I couldn't see him clearly because I was too focused on the road, but I think he was biting his lip.
I took a deep breath before saying the words, "I-I love you, Keiji."
He coughed. "Know what? Let's just keep calling each other by our last names. This is just really weird."
"Can't say I don't agree," a smile appeared on my lips.
Everything was fine. The guys at the back were asleep, probably exhausted. Everyday, we've been training them nonstop, making them shoot precisely at a target.
"I just hope someday all of this nightmare will go away and become history," I whispered to myself.
"Bokuto-san, stop the car!" Akaashi shouted, which startled me. I immediately hit the brakes. Akaashi was panting, his eyes were widened.
"Akaashi what the hell was that?" I asked him and turned the lights inside the car on.
"Can't you see, Bokuto-san?" he tried to calm himself down by taking deep breaths. "This place... is like a nest of walkers. We just fell right into it. I'm glad that you stopped just in time, keeping us from hitting that large sign over there."
I looked in front of me. There was a sign saying stop. I was about to go out of the car when Akaashi stopped me.
"Don't go out. Once they hear the noise, they'll come to the car. You can't see them because it's too dark, but I can. I stole glasses that has night vision..." he looked like he was ashamed to admit it.
