"So he just laid there crying all night?" Layla asks, her expression a mix of anger and sympathy. I nod.
"I feel bad for him-"
"Don't. It's exactly what he wants. I understand that yesterday was the anniversary but that does not give him the right to be mad at you for blowing off your date" she starts pacing causing me to laugh
"We have two weeks to figure this out. Until then, let's actually have some fun while we're here. Get dressed, we are going to the beach, yesterday Ryder invited everyone to his house for a party"
"I'm loving this Ryder guy already" she says in a teasing tone causing me to roll my eyes
"Stop it. Now hurry up I already got dressed a half hour ago so let's go" I snap on a joking tone causing her to put her hand over her heart, acting hurt.
"Well I never!" She jokes causing the both of us to burst out into laughter. After about ten minutes, she is finally dressed and we walk across the hall and knock on the boys' door.
"Guys are you coming because we are leaving now!" I shout and the three of them come out. I don't exchange a glance at Blake even though he's staring at me because Layla is right. He can't just keep being mad at me and messing with my emotions when he wants to. I deserve to be happy too.
Ryder's house isn't that far away from the hotel so we were there within a matter of minutes. Once we got into the house, Layla and I introduced the guys to the boys that we were playing football with yesterday.
"I'm gonna go find Ryder-"
"He's fixing his car out back" Mike, the blonde guy that I knocked over yesterday says and I nod and go into the garage where I see Ryder.
"Maybe you need to fix your router" He bangs his head on the hood of the car and I chuckle.
"I didn't know you were into cars"
"Well that's because we only met yesterday. Let me tell you something about myself, I know a lot about boys because I have three brothers and a father"
My phone buzzes. I open it to see that it's a text from Layla that says: Blake is going upstairs with a girl, thought you should know.
I feel a mix of emotions. Angry. Hurt. Mad.
"Are you okay?" I shake my head and reply "yeah I'm fine it's no big deal"
"You don't look fine?" It came out as more of a question but I give him an "A" for effort.
"It's no big deal, don't worry about it"
He smirks and replies "Alright, I'm going to take your suggestion and fix the router tomorrow because right now I want to focus on putting a smile on that pretty face of yours.

We played ping pong, football, basketball, but now it's time for the big guns. Beer pong."Alright, Me and Ryder vs you two" I point to Layla and Aiden and they smirk and say "you're on" in unison.
I go first and get the ball in Layla's cup. Then it's Aiden's turn and I had to drink. And I'm pretty sure you know how this game goes just unfortunately we were the losers and this stuff is really strong.
"Alright major truth or dare! I dare you to kiss Ryder" Aiden slurs and I chuckle and turn to Ryder. I grab his face and plant one on him and he kisses me back.
Once I pull away, I am being dragged outside by a very angry Blake. I cross my arms "not again. What do you want Blake?" I snap
"You know what I want-"
"See I thought I did but then you screwed up and then when things were going good you were mad again! So I don't know what you want anymore Blake!" I slur while turning away. He pulls me back to him and kisses me.
"I want you"
I start laughing "you know I really wish you'd stop saying that. Why can't you just let me be happy? I liked you a lot Blake... And now it's as if you think of me as some toy. Well you thought wrong because I am not a toy and there is no way that I am letting you play with my emotions anymore. I am done Blake" I snap while walking away and this time he doesn't stop me.
I walked back to Layla and Aiden who both have worried expressions on their faces. "What happened?" They ask in unison and I chuckle.
"He's just a jerk and I am done letting him toy with my emotions. I want to get drunk"
"Ivy can we talk?" Ryder asks and I chuckle and nod. He takes me outside and says "look Ivy. There's some obvious tension between you and that guy that you need to work out and I don't want to come between that"
"What are you saying?" I question with a chuckle
"I mean I think we should just stay friends. You and him have a lot of things that you need to work out and I am not going to get in the way of that. I'll see you around Ivy" he kisses me on the cheek and walk away leaving me with only my thoughts.
Blake Hunter. What the hell have you done now?
