Blake's POV
I wake up with the usual splitting headache of a hangover and groan as my alarm goes blaring with music. I rub my eyes, sit up and shut off my alarm.I then go to my closet and grab my usual white T shirt and black jeans, I slip on my leather hoodie jacket, my sneakers, grab an apple, and head out the door. Thank god I am an only child, I don't know how I would put up with siblings.
Ivy's POV
I wake up at my usual time, 6am and take a shower. Once I am out, I dry my hair and go into my closet and grab jeans, a grey T shirt and a white cardigan. Then I put my hair into a high pony tail and slip on my white converse.I make my way out of my room and into my little brother Luke's room. Luke is the baby of our family, he is only 14 years old but I say he's gonna be a lady killer because he, along with my older brother Mason got the blue eyes from our mother.
I open his door and silently walk over to his bed. "Luke, get up its time for school"
"I don't wanna go!" He groans, clearly tired from last night. We went to our grandmothers house and unfortunately for us, dad drove home late
"I know Luke but you have to, it's school" he groans again and kicks his covers off.
"Fine, get out so I could get dressed" He snaps, I know he's grumpy now but later on he will be fine when he talks to me about Lacy. Lacy is the girl he likes, I think it's really cute how he feels like he can talk to me about it instead of my other brothers or my dad.
Once I walk out of Luke's room, I go into my twin Aiden's room and just throw a pillow at him "wake up loser it's time for school" that's how we wake each other up, it's weird but that's how we roll.
He jumps up and falls out of his bed causing me to chuckle a little as I walk out of his room and into our oldest brother Mason's room, Mason is 21 and doesn't go to college. Once mom died four years ago, he decided to help dad with us, I plan on doing the same once I graduate this year.
"Hey, Mace wake up" I say while jumping on his bed and he pushes me off causing me to fall on the floor
"Are you alive?" He asks, still out of it and I chuckle
"Yup. Now hurry up, breakfast will be ready in ten"
"I don't know how you do it" he says with a smile and I smirk and walk out. I don't know how I do it either, four years ago when mom died, I just took all of the responsibility because dad and Mason are working most of the time.
I run downstairs and pop toast into the toasters by the time it's done and I have spread everything on it, everyone is downstairs eating together, well except dad. He leaves for work early and comes home late, the only days we get to see him are weekends.
"Alright I should be on my way out now, see you guys later" Mason says while throwing a peace sign at us and walking out the door.
"We should get going too-"
"Remember I have a game" Aiden says and I nod. "I know I'm going which means that Luke you're going to have to go to Avery and Toby's house, I called them last night and they are fine with it" he nods in understanding. We grab our stuff and head out.
----
"Crap Ivy you look beat" Layla says while giving me a hug and I sigh while gliding from the wall into the floor"I'm exhausted and the day hasn't even started! It's my dad's fault, he made us go to grandmas house and drove us home late and I being the responsible one got up early, showered, got dressed, woke up the boys, made breakfast, made sure Luke got to school okay, and got to school on time"
"Wow" Both Layla and Liam say in unison
"But everything is fine, hey Liam what's good" Aiden says while doing a bro hug with Liam
"I'll see you girls later" Liam says while walking away with Aiden, probably discussing plays for tonight's game. I slap Layla's arm.
"Stop ogling over my brother, it's weird" She smirks
"I can't help it, he's good looking" she whines and I roll my eyes
"He is just like Blake, a guy who likes to mess with girls feelings just so he could date them and break their hearts"
"Why do you hate Blake so much?" I sigh, get up and close my locker.
"You know why. Now enough with the questions, we have a game to go to later mrs cheerleader" I tease, when we were younger, she always wanted to be a cheer leader and when she finally got the chance, she took it.
"Shut up smart ass" she says as we walk into Math class. Once I see Blake realization hits me and I huff in frustration.
"What's wrong?" Layla asks worriedly and I put my face in my hands
"During study hall last period I have to tutor who you call mister hot pants" She chuckles and looks at Blake. I remember once puberty hit Blake in ninth grade, Layla went so boy crazy that she started calling him hot pants, it's kind of funny actually because the rumor got around and he started calling himself that.
"Lucky"
"Not." I snap while putting my head down while listening to the lesson.
------
"I don't get any of this!" Blake groans in frustration and I roll my eyes"That's why I'm here to help you. Do you want to be able to play football or not?" I snap and he nods. "Alright say the distance formula" he looks up as if he's trying to remember it
"Umm d equals the square root of X1 plus y-"
"Nope. Try again" he huffs and looks at me with anger in his eyes
"D equals the square root of x2 minus X1 squared plus y2 minus y1 squared?"
"Yay you actually know something" I say sarcastically and he smirks
"I'm not smart like you, you have it easy-"
"No I don't. I have it hard, but you wouldn't know that because my brother doesn't say crap about us"
"Fine. I know nothing, what I do know is that we would look great going to homecoming together" I laugh at his attempt to flirt
"I don't think so pretty boy"
"What, no hot pants? Well at least you called me pretty-"
"It wasn't a compliment" I say dryly
"Well I'm taking it as one and your not pretty" he takes a long pause
"I already knew that" I say while grabbing my books but he stops me by grabbing my wrist
"Your beautiful and don't you forget it"
"Flattery will get you nowhere" I spat dryly while pulling away and walking out of study hall and to my locker. Once I get my stuff I slam my locker shut in frustration.
"Woah easy there tiger" A voice that I recognize as Aiden's says and I kick my locker. "You wanna talk about it?"
"Does it look like I wanna talk about it? Let's just go, you have a game to play in remember?" I start walking to the field in the back of the school where the games are held and sit down.
