Leo And Nova, Detective Brothers!

Chapter 2, The Case!

      We sat for a moment taking in what we were just told, I mean it's not every day you're given a case where a psychopath murdered someone's parents. I looked at the girl and said "Miss I need you to tell me everything that happened" She slightly nodded and said "It was about 6 hours ago, someone knocked on the door and my dad answered it, the man just stood there motionless with a kitchen knife in his hand, he then swiftly slit his throat, then he stabbed my mother in the gut and left the house..." Leo had put the girl's alibi in a case file and looked up and said, "We'll go over and start investigating the crime scene alright? And we'll contact you if we find something." The girl nodded and left, Leo and I got in the car and headed off to the address.

      We finally arrived at the address, we were disgusted when we saw the crime scene. It was extremely gruesome but we got to investigating, first we noticed about her father's body... His throat was slit blood mark all the way over the window. When I look closer, it looked like his nose was broken first but also... The blood... It's fresh. I felt something dark about this case right when I saw this stuff. We walked over to the mom, which was a bit odd, "Leo, the girl said her mom was just stabbed in the gut and left right....?" He didn't even look over from what he was doing and said "Yeah why?" I shivered and said, "There are two reasons why she is lying.. Just look at her mom's body!"

      Leo and I gulped, and I said "She wasn't just stabbed in the gut... She was gutted, and the killer couldn't have up and left because the way she is hung up on the door..." Leo nodded "I think the person who turned in the case, did the deed turned in.." I stopped and heard dripping in the corner of the house, blood was pouring onto the floor forming letters "L-L-LEO!!!!" He looked and said "What mate, I'm trying to--" he immediately saw what I was looking at and our eyes widened. The blood ended up spelling the words "GET OUT." Leo and I immediately went to the door and tried opening it but... It was locked, we then heard a girl giggling behind us, and to our surprise, it was the girl, she looked up at us with a twisted grin and bloodshot eyes with a knife in her hand. She said "Hehehe, you two boys have found waaaay too much out, well at least I got you in my trap like I wanted, heh" I slowly put my hand on my gun holster "Look this doesn't have to end up badly.."

     She laughed and cracked another wicked grin "Awww does the little boy want to run free?" I growled lowly and said, "Don't call me a little boy!" I pulled my Luger pistol out and fired a shot at her and it hit, then she turned into dust. Me and Leo stood there in shock looking around as a figure came out of the floor in a black cowl, it was the girl again "So the little boy is really quick, for that I'm taking you two with me for a trip into different worlds, talking cartoon ponies, cartoon characters, and so much more hehe!" Leo and I looked at each other and started laughing, Leo looked up and said: "Hahhahaha, you gotta be kidding me!" She growled and suddenly the crime scene vanished and we floated into the air as some sort of wormhole appeared below us and she said, "Have fun in your first world! You better work hard, so I can put you in a new one!" She cackled like a maniac before dropping us in the wormhole and everything was dark and all that was happening was me and Leo falling through space and time until we hit the ground letting out groans of pain. I coughed up a little bit of blood before looking around seeing nothing but grass, I was alone and then everything went black...
