Troublesome || Shikamaru || *On Hold*

Chapter 7

-Hisa-

"That's amazing Hisa!" My mom said.

"Yes it is, saving the Hokage's life is one of the best things you can do while being a ninja." My dad said.

"Thanks mom and dad." I said smiling.

"Oh, someone's at the door." My mom said.

She walked to the door to see who it was.

I heard voices then my mom came quickly through the living smiling at me.

Then I saw Shikamaru coming in staring at me lazily.

"Shika?"

What is he doing here?

"Shikamaru here asked to borrow you for a second." She said.

"Oh..." I said unsure of what she meant.

"Now run along you two... my daughter on a date." My mom said grabbing us then pushing us out the door.

Of course she'd think something like that.

"Dont think of what your mom said, I asked could you come out to talk to me." Shikamaru said.

"I was not thinking like that at all thank you very much." I said walking on the side of him.

We continued to walk, but then he stopped.

"You see them don't you." He said.

I couldn't see it but I could feel it. There was eyes on us. I glanced to the side seeing my mom and Shikamaru's mom.

You have got to be kidding me.

"This is so annoying." He said groaning. "Would the two of you go away." He shouted.

"We are out shopping, so mind your own business." His mom said to him.

He sighed and the two of us began walk away from them. We went on top of the hill sitting down in the grass.

"So what is it Shika?" I asked him.

"Well Asuma said that we we're going to have the Chunin exams next month." He said.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Really." He said sighing.

"I grew up in a forest." I said flatly.

"It's the exams you take to become a Chunin, you go through different test and stuff." He said.

"Oh." I said understanding, that was actually kinda obvious. "I heard of it."

"Are you scared?" He asked.

"I'm not sure." I said looking at him.

"Hey, you two." Asuma Sensie said coming over sitting inbetween us taking a seat.

"Hey Sensie..." I said looking up at him.

He had a cigarette in his mouth and I began to cough, Shikamaru too.

"You really need to stop smoking." I said.

"Maybe." He says.

Me and Ino have been training with each other for the exams. She's been saying she wants Sasuke to notice her. I don't like Sasuke but, I support her and her feelings.

Anyway the Chunin exams are tommorow, me and Ino are prepared.

We don't know what Choji and Shikamaru has been doing, we asked did they want to train with us but Choji turned us down saying he was training with Sensei. And Shikamaru being Shikamaru obviously said no.
