Megi's POV:

As I was done at home, I was ready to go to school. I texts Adam another text. I have texted him like a hundred times now and he still haven't answered me. I will call him now when I walk to the bus.

I call and I call. No answer from his side. And he will be late, because here's comes the bus. I try to call him one last time. I hear it biping and at least he answer me.
-Hey Adam, you're gonna be late, you know that right?
-Well, Megi, I can't come today.
-Why? Are you sick or something?
-No, I'm not sick, but my little sister is in the hospital right now and we all are right now with her.
-OMG no, not Lily, what happened to her? I ask concerned.
-She was in a car crash this morning on her way to school, going there early to study, you know.
-Yeah.
- She was on her bicycle when a car went to fast and crushed into her.
-How is she now?
-The doctors just ran some test so we will know soon.
-Text or call me the answers when you find out. Should I come by after school to say hi?
-Yes please do so. You mean a lot to her. You are like her big sister, cause you know with mum gone and we have no other siblings and got only our father.
-Yes of course I will come by. I call you on the way. And you know what? She is like a sister to me too. You know I love that kid.
-And she loves you. Me too love you Megi.
-I love you too Adam.

When I talked to Adam on the phone while I'm getting closer to school with the bus and soon enough I'll meet up with the rest. As the bus driving in on the parking lot I saw TJ, Vera, Annie and Liam coming out of TJ's car and they are laughing so much. Wonder how much they have been hanging out the last week. They seem to have became a lot closer since I last saw them. I walk over to them.
-Hey guys, I say.
-Hey, they say in choir, except Liam that doesn't even look at me.
-So what was so fun?, I ask them all.
-Just a thing Liam said, Vera answers me.
-Oh okey what was it Liam? I ask him.
-Please, Liam, tell us again it was so funny, Annie is beginning him too.
-Tell you all later because I need to hurry up to class, he answers and starts to hurry a bit.

Adam's POV:

As I finished talking to Megi, I just walk in the room where my sister and father is. My dad is holding is my sisters hand close to his mouth and just kissing her hand time to time and just cries. I take a seat on her other side and hold her hand with both of my hands. It feels like I starts to pray for her, that she have to be better soon and this car accident wasn't that bad. In the middle of it all the doctor comes in.
-So doctor Holm, how is she? I ask him meanwhile I stand up and still holding my sister's hand.
-Well, at the moment we don't know if she gonna make it yet, but since we last checked on her, she seems to doing a lot better. All we can do is to give her some medication so most of the pain can go away and the wait for her leg and arm can heal after the driver broke them.
- How long will it take to heal? I ask him.
- Well, it can take a while. Faster in the arm then then the leg. It's only one bone in the arm that's broken, but in the leg it is several bones broken. So the arm will just take a few months to heal. But the leg will take at least 6 months to heal. She will need  a wheelchair for at least few months, you can get one from the hospital if you want. Later on she will need crutches until the leg has healed safely.
- Okey, I answer and ask doctor Holm; where can I get a wheelchair around here?
The doctor explains where I can find it and says that he will follow me there when it's time to need one.

A few hours passes by. Both dad and me are still by Lily's side. It's lunch time and she hasn't woken up since the surgery this morning when they had to fix support in her leg, with all the metal things and bandage to support everything that has broken in her leg.

-Dad. Dad. Are you here? Lily suddenly are waking up.
Dad has fallen asleep in the chair beside Lily's bed and with his head in the bed right beside Lily's hand.
-Dad, Lily says again.
By the third dad lily says, he finally wake up.
-Yes darling? He answers.
-Dad, where I am?
-You are in a hospital, darling.
-Why I am? What has happened to me, dad?
-Oh darling, you were in a car accident this morning on your way to school, you know at that dangerous intersection. You broke your left arm and right leg. You had a concussion, then lost your consciousness and while you had surgery you had to be sleeping so the gave you drugs for that, no wonder you don't remember it all.
-Oh was I? Maybe I'll remember more and more when time fly by.
-Hopefully yes, I say.
And Lily turns around and look at me with her big blue eyes, she got from mum. And then she smile.
-Adam, what are you doing here? Doesn't you have to be in school? She asks me.
- I was on my way to school, but on the way dad called and told me what had happened, so I called school, I explained and they understood, so I am here. But I have to be back there tomorrow, sadly.
-No no. I am glad you are here today. As long you comes after school it's okey, she says with her classic smile, that classic smile she does when she wants to show you that she appreciates something.
- If you says so, I say back to her.

After dad had picked up some food at the hospital cafeteria, we sit and eat by Lily's bed. We talk and talk and times go by so fast.
In the middle of all of it, I hear my phone buzzing. I go getting it and see it's Megi calling for the third time. I answer her at least.
-Hey Adam why didn't you answer earlier? And which hospital are Lily at?
- Oh hey Megi. Dad, Lily and I was talking and we forgot about time. So sorry. And we are at St Brian's hospital. Why are you wondering?
- I am coming now after school remember?, she answers.
- Oh yeah that's right. Text when you are near and I will meet you up out side.
- Oki doki Adam, see you soon. Bye
- Bye Megi see you.
- Was that Megi? Is she coming? Lily ask me happily and with a huge smile on her lips.
-Yes she is. I told her what happened to you this morning. And then Megi said she will be coming after school.

Soon enough I get a text from Megi telling me she at the front door in a minute. I text her back and tell her to wait there.

Megi's POV:
The day went on, people asking me where Adam are. I didn't know what to say, I didn't know if he wanted everyone knowing is little sister was in accident. So I just told them that he will be back tomorrow so he will tell them then.
The bell rings, last ring for today. The end of last class.
I go to my locker and re-packing my bag of the stuff I need for study tonight.

After saying good bye to everyone I try to call Adam again. For the third time. If he don't pick up now I will be so mad. I really wand to meet Lily. And precisely after I think that I hear his voice.

I was just right to go of the bus that's stops right in front of St Brian's hospital, then I text Adam. He will come down in a second. I wait in the lobby until I hear someone say;
-Hey Megi. How you doing?
I turn around to see who it is and there stands Adam with a smile but his eyes says something else. They say something between pain and pity for Lily. Instead of answering him I just give him a hug. I hug him as hard that I can. He hug me back too. We stand there for a second and I feel that he relax and the tense in his body releases. Then he hug me harder really quick and then he let go of me.
- I am so glad you came, Megi, Adam says.
-I want to meet her, I have been longed to meet her all day.
-Let's go meet her. Lily got so excited when when I told her that you were coming.
-Aww, I say and then we start walking to the elevator.

Hours later, the time had been flying by.
-I love meeting you all. Thanks for letting me come, I tell them.
-I am so glad you came, Megi, Lily says.
-Hey girl, you are the reason I came. Love you little girl.
She smiles really big and I give her a hug.
-Thanks Megi for coming, it means very much for us, mr Dearing thanks me.
After he says that, I go give him a hug.
-Mr D, you are like my second family, so of course I'll come by.

I say good bye too all of them and give them all a hug each and then I leave the room. I walk to the elevator and press the button so the elevator can come to the 5th floor, where I am at. On the way down to the ground floor the elevator stops on the 3rd floor. And then Liam steps in.
