I

Thirty minutes is such a drawn out time for one person to journey home. That's like 10 song lengths. Eternity is real riding in this jungle bus which, I will not miss.

Nearing my treasured stop I gathered my backpack and stood up to leave. Miss Amy told the Webb twins they couldn't get off. Excuse me? If these people do not let me off I will throw a BF.

White chicks will become my mantra if I can't see my cat in two point six seconds. "I will drive you all to your house." What? "Excuse me Miss Amy isn't that against policy?" I politely asked.

"The county wants to try something new next year. We were told to try it out today." She looked at me through the mirror. Well that's going to be a little weird if this lady knows where I live now. No thank you. "Tell me where to stop ladies."

How convent the twins are the first house when you pull on to the road, while I'm all the way and the end of the road. "You can stop where the dirt starts, I can walk the rest of the way." I do not want these people to know where to locate me in any situation. "Okay, have a great summer!" I put my hand up with a smile and wave.

Those three steps I walked up and down for the past one hundred and eighty days has come to a halt. Placing my sandaled feet on the two meeting sides of the pavement and dirt.

The best advantage of being the youngest is everyone in the house is moved out and your parents work from the crack of dawn, to the depths of night, is the house to yourself.

My mom calls it the Rose's free for all. I find it acceptable to say being alone is my thing.

My sister told me if anything were to happen to me nobody would notice from how closed off I am.

Half of a mile to go and my make up hasn't tried to make its way off of my face, yet. The life in my phone is hanging on by forty-two percent and the Florida heat never the less seems to frizz my hair.

There are two types of people who live in my neighborhood. Old people that like to drive in the middle of the road or pull a London style, which is driving on the left side of the road, where I am located.

Then there are the speeders. I'm sorry but I don't want to die today. I should be a flight attendant. "The speed limit sign is to your right."

Right away I felt quite relieved to see my driveway down the street I'm walking upon. This day won't end and my cat is waiting inside for me to bother her.

I rushed my pace a little. Not caring if my foundation or clothes seem to glisten in the sun. Rounding the corner to my beloved drive way I spotted a car in the spot where my mom parks. Next to the front door.

I swear if this man wants something we are going to have issues. Leave a note on the door or something. Not sit in a empty driveway.

I'm beginning to eye this black Mercedes Benz. I took my headphones out to be more aware of my surroundings. Twenty feet away from my door step and I hear the car door open.

I looked over to find this six foot two man stride his way closer to me while wearing a black Turtle neck, khaki pants, black leather shoes. His clothes tucked in, hair slicked into a perfect quiff and some black aviators.

With wide eyes I took off to my front door skipping the stairs not to waste time. "Miss Parker!" I stopped, "Miss Rose Parker. With all due respect is this how you should be acting while there is a guest at your residence?"

"Excuse me, Sir. I do not know who you are and what business you have at this address. Which in fact is private property. So you must have a good reason to be here." I eyed him from head to toe trying to make myself threatening.

"Throughout the time being, I have been in contact with your parents Robert and Amelia Parker for quite some time actually. They have asked me to watch after you for the time being of their absence." He looked pained while talking.

This guy is a sophisticated weirdo, no more like a psychopath. "Let me just call my parents to confirm. I will be inside. Please don't come in." I smiled while taking my phone out and turning the door handle.

I felt a something fall onto my hair and seep into my skin when I opened the door. Looking up I saw a cloud of white falling down with me like snow flurrying in the beginning of wintertime.

I didn't feel my body fall to the floor. I don't feel anything. Why can't I feel anything. My whole body is numb and I can see that guy coming near me. The black spots in my eyes are getting bigger. How am I supposed to defend myself if I can't even see clearly.

I tried to pick up my head but my whole body was numb. Whatever that powder was made to do, I think it's working. I saw the man near closer to me as the powder went into full effect waiting for me to be completely limp to crouch down and lift me up.
