Jace's POV
I was in my room playing with my dad's old knife, but then I herd 2 people laughing the first one I can tell is the new nerd next door, but the other one I'm not sure.
So when I walk out I see the most beautiful girl I have ever seen, you can imagin my shock. She has bright red hair emerald green eyes and these adorable little freckles.
They don't see me so I ask "what's going on?" Then they stop laughing and looked up at me the nerd frowned but the girl smiled and said "I'm Clary Morganstern its nice to meet you."
"I'm Jace Herondale." She smiled even bigger and said, "well Jace would you like to come to Java Jones for lunch with us?"
"Sure let me get my jacket." When we were walking in the hallway Simon elbowed Clary and wiggled his eye brows, she said "OW! What was that for?"
Although I'm pretty sure she knows (unlike me) judging by the smirk. Hmm I wonder what that's about. Oh well.
And with that we headed out for lunch.
