The Rebel Alliance had succeeded. The Empire was destroyed and the Galaxy was safe once again.

The celebration on Endor was spectacular. All the pilots and Rebel leaders were celebrating the Empire's fall. Han, Lando, Chewie, and Leia were also celebrating the end of the horrible dictatorship that had ruled over the Galaxy for more than twenty years.

But Leia know someone was missing from this joyful victory celebration.

"Has anyone seen Luke?" Asked Leia curious of were her newly found brother was.

"He said he was going to meditate or something. I think I see him by those huts over there." Said Han pointing in the direction of were Luke was.

"Poor Luke." Luttered Leia as she started to walk over to Luke. He had lost his father, Darth Vader, today.

She was no stranger to loss.

The image of Alderran exploding replayed in her mind as she slowly walked over to the cluster of huts were Luke was.

She knew what he must be going through. Even though Darth Vader was her father, she felt no pain or sadness when he died.
She felt like he deserved the fate that was bestowed upon him. She had never known the Sith Lord to be anything but a cruel, murderous cyborg.

She didn't know that he turned to the darkside to save her. Or how he was once the Republic's mightiest war hero. Or how much he longed to have a family, to have a daughter.

But Luke knew there was still good in him. Just like their mother believed till the moment she died.

"Luke!" Yelled Leia but Luke was to lost in his thoughts to hear her.

Luke looked off in to the distance not even noticing his sister's call. He was to lost in grief to notice.

He has only known his father for a very short time, but he felt so close to him. Maybe this piece was never meant to be filled.

He didn't see his father as others saw him. To him, his father was once a great Jedi. He had always believed that there was good in his father.

His father saved him, but Luke failed to save his father.

As he looked off into the distant forest, he saw three blue, ghostly figures staring back at him.

He immediately recognized Ben and yoda, but who was this young man he had never seen before? Soon he recognized this being's force signature.

His father.

His father smiled at him. Luke smiled back as Leia walked over and hugged him.

"Come join the party Luke! You earned it." Said Leia trying to cheer up Luke.

But she immediately saw what Luke was looking at. This young man who looked no older than her, had a very familiar presence.

Then it struck her.

It was her father. Not the evil, murderous man she had known her whole life. So this is what her father looked like before.

What had happened that would make him willingly throw away his family?

As if Luke had heard everything she thought, he looked at her and said, "If only father hadn't turned. Imagine what our lives would have been like."

And with those very words, Luke was lifted through the force.
With a bright flash, Luke was gone leaving Leia frantic.

As Luke was lifted through the force, he soon landed on a building that looked like the Senate tower in the former Imperial Capital.

Then he saw them.

There in the distance of the landing platform, was a young Ben and his young father talking.

As Luke stood with his mouth wide open, his father spotted him and yelled, "who are you and what are you doing here!"

As Luke heard his father's voice It struck him, he was not in Endor anymore, he was in the past!

"This can't be happening!" Muttered Luke as his father and Ben ran toward him.

Luke put his hands up as a sign of surrender.

"This is going to be fun to explain." Thought Luke as the two other men came running over to him.
