Chapter Four

Balo looked around the school yard, his nose scrunching a little as he thought to himself, "I am over 1,000 years old and I'm here.. at this place called.. school.." 

Lina smiled, "Alright, here we have our school." Then she pointed to a slightly smaller building. "And that's the gym. Gym is pretty fun.. I'm going to get you to go to gym too.."

Balo huffed, "Gym.. must be where athletics go.." 

Lina just nodded, "C'mon.. I'm going to get you inside before you 'burn'." She said with a laugh, pulling him into the school. "Oh.. I forgot.. Balo.." Balo looked at her, "Yes..?" Lina sighed, "You have to get out of them clothes.." 

Balo blinked, "Well, I am not taking my clothes off right here.." Lina started laughing, "Not right here! C'mon. I'm going to bring you to the lost and found." 

Balo walked beside her, slightly angry at her, "What is so horrid about my clothes, miss?" Lina rolled her eyes, "First off, you look like you just got out of bed. Second, you just need to look like a normal person." Balo got slightly offended, as he glared, "Why I take offense." 

Lina smiled, "sure.. cuz you know it's true. now c'mon!" 

They finally made it to the lost and found as Lina let him pick out something, "You know.. we're stealing right.." Lina whispered into his ear. Balo just smiled, "Ha.. doesn't bother me one bit." 

Lina rolled her eyes, "Go get changed.. boys bathroom is over there." She pointed down the hall. Balo nodded, as he walked down the hall into the boys bathroom. He got changed into the new clothing, snapping his fingers and making the clothes he was wearing disappear. 

He walked out, only to see Lina talking to that Khloe girl again. He sighed, as a ghostly like figure of his mentor, Minua, appear in front of him. "Balo.. lure this girl in... she could do us good." He blinked, "Pardon? You want me to lure her in..? I have a feeling I already have.." Minua smirked, "Great.. by the next full moon, bring her here.. she shall learn our ways.. and you shall be get mentor." 

Minua disappeared as Balo sighed, "Great.. mentor of a mortal.. this shall be fun.."

Lina smiled, looking over as Khloe followed, "Oh, hey mister cosplayer! What was your name again?" "Balo.." He answered harshly, his eyes narrow as Lina rolled her eyes, "Stop being mean to each other.." 

Balo sighed, "Lina, may I talk to you today after school?" Lina blinked, "Well.. I kinda have to talj to Khloe after school and go to our track meet." Balo sighed, "Then can I right now?" Lina smiled, "sure but make it quick, we have only ten minutes until school starts." Balo smiled, "Alright, may you com here..?"

Lina nodded, walking over while Khloe following behind. Balo snorted, "I need to talk to her.. privately. It's important." Khloe's brow raised,  "Ohhhh really? What? Gonna confess your love for her even though you two just met?" Lina blinked, "I mean, she won't do any harm.. it's okay Balo." 

Balo's eyes narrowed as he glared at Khloe, thinking to himself, "Well.. there will be one less mortal on this planet.."
