5. Danger

Riker P.O.V.

Woah, Nola's friends were pretty. Especially Susan, she was very cute. I needed to get to know her! "Hey, I was thinking about having a movie marathon tonight, are you guys coming?" "We'd love to!" Susan immediately said. "Great! Ross, we're having repetition now!" "Oh,that's right!" He nodded and turned to Nola. "Nola, I'll see you tonight, okay?" "Okay," she said smiling. They hugged and I could see that they really loved each other. But something didn't feel right... Something about Nola. And that was when I knew it. I knew her identity, the reason why she avoided Ross at first, the reason why she looked the way she looked. And it was dangerous, I felt it! I had to protect Ross!

Nola P.O.V.

Ross and I hugged until I felt Riker staring at us. "Bye," I said softly when we pulled back and smiled. Then I followed Bree and Susan, who were already walking towards the door. When we all stood outside, the girls both started fangirling and I laughed. But yeah, meeting your celeb crush and having a movie marathon planned with him was exciting. "I need to go home," I said when Susan and Bree calmed down. "Okay, do you know the nearest bus stop?" I told them and said bye. "Bye!" they said in unison and walked away. I sighed and crossed the street. I was afraid my mum would be mad because I was late. I opened the door. "Nola, where have you been?!" the mad loud voice of my brother Nick echoed through the building. "I'm sorry, I had some stuff to do..." I said, hoping he wouldn't do anything. "Well, you better be happy mum and dad aren't here. They'll be home tomorrow morning." This was great, now I would be able to go to the Lynches without problems!

~A Few Hours Later~

I arrived at the Lynches a bit too early, but it didn't matter. "You can come here anytime you want!" Stormie said. She was such a sweet woman. I talked with Ross. About hobbies, fears, favorite things, favorite places and more stuff like that. Then the bell rang, and Ryland and Riker both immediately ran to the door, which made me smile. Riker was a little bit earlier and opened the door. Susan and Riker came in and I saw the eyes of the four people glistening. They would form two cute couples. We all sat down on the couches and the pillows on the ground. Ross and I with eachother, of course. Riker and Susan together, and Ryland and Bree together. I saw Bree was hesitating at first. I thought it was kinda pathetic that she was so shy... But Rylands arm around her made her smile, like I expected. The movie started and I leaned my head on Ross' shoulder. After a few hours, everybody but me was asleep. I stood up and went outside, to the closest park. There was a beautiful lake and I sat down, looking at it. The bright moon reflected in the calm water. Then someone sat down beside me. "I knew you would be here," a voice said. I looked beside me and saw Ross, moonlight shining on his beautiful blonde hair.

Riker P.O.V.

I woke up in the middle of the night and looked around once my eyes had gotten used to the dark. Everybody was asleep, I thought, until I saw two empty spaces. Ross and Nola were gone! I had to find them before something would happen! Where could they be? I remembered something of their conversation. Nola's favorite place was... the park. I opened the door and started running until I arrived at the park. There they were, sitting beside eachother, at the lake. They were close, too close. They leaned in... I wanted to scream, but a strong hand covered my mouth. "Let her hurt him, or I'll hurt you," a voice whispered. I wanted to pull away, but the guy hit my head and I fell on the ground. I immediately looked up to see what was happening. They both leaned in, And when their lips were about to touch, Nola's head went down to Ross' neck and her pointy teeth set in his his foreskin. Ross screamed and fell on the grass. Nola tried to dry his neck with her clothes, being very worried. She started crying and I felt that I was finally free so I ran up to the others. "Let me help you, " I said and took Ross from the ground. "Wait!" Nola yelled when I was about to walk away. "So you know who I am. Or, to be honest, who I was." She established. "How do you mean was?" I asked curious and a bit worried. "When a vampire bites someone, the bitten one turns into a vampire and the vampire turns into a normal human being." "So Ross is a vampire?! What are we gonna do?!"
