Chapter Three-Shut Down-(Part three)

New York Radio Station,

5:00 AM.

Paisley Drome walked down the long hallway.

She watched Ted Dexter stare the TV screens.

"Hell, I know you're angry. But it's been on the Internet for two hours". He watched Cay Grahame smoke a cigarette.

"You're giving me cancer", Ted complained.

"Look, we're going to read the news. And deal with the excuses later". Paisley wore a light, blue colored dress, brown colored pantyhose, and was wearing black high heeled shoes on her small feet. She wondered why worked at NY3.

They opened the RADIO SUITE rooms. And closed it. Then she saw three cups of coffee on their table.

"Thank God!", Cay sighed...as she sat down.

She adjusted her glasses...and saw Tom Kennedy, their producer. He was glad that everyone was here.

"Ok. Here is the news. The UN Building in New York was under a urban terrorism threat. The terrorist called Faran Dubroh, was killed by plastic explosive. A FBI Agent named Mark Denning, was arrested for blowing out 45 windows. He will die by lethal injection. Everyone's upset. But the sad fact is that America's Debt Ceiling disaster trumps terrorism these days.

"Also, a financer called Robert Lowe, 40, found out his wife, Amy Lowe, is a traitor to America. Apparently he shot her dead. He's in secret location with his daughter. Now, here's the tricky bit, we can't use US Government people's name. We can report what happened...And that's all". He waited for everyone to digest what he told them.

"So, we can say that the UN was attacked by Muslim terrorists".

"Yes".

"And the Debt Ceiling crisis?". Ted enquired.

"Separate stories".

"And the US financier's wife who is a traitor?".

"Another story".

"Fine...but if we're sued, don't blame us...when the news goes on Facebook, Twitter, and other websites".

"Our Lawyers say we can do it, Paisley".

"Then let's go with it!", she then was near her own silver colored microphone...And begun to talk first. It was now 5:15 AM.

"It is 5:16 AM on Monday morning in New York. This is Paisley Drome talking to you, with Ted Dexter, and Cay Grahame. We're here all morning until Midday. Due to this SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT, it won't be about who got kicked off reality TV shows.

"About two hours' ago...or more...UN employee Farhan Dubroh, was killed when he committed an act of urban terrorism by blowing himself up. Two FBI Agents from the Anti-Terrorism Squad, Ray Shane, attempted to arrest him with the help of Mark Denning.

"But, for whatever reason, (and even though they had had back up), Denning shot out 45 windows of the UN Building, without reason of acknowledging anyone else who worked there. Dubroh, a known agitator over Middle East policy in America, was a Muslim convert in 2002, one year after 9/11. He has family in Jordan.

"According to the FBI, Denning will die from lethal injection. The reason is that all Federal Buildings inside the US is protected by the Government. And no one shall destroy them. If they do, then the penalty is death, as I've just told everyone moments ago.

"The questions  are: 'Who is blamed for this disaster?'. And: 'Can the Obama Administration pay for one of their own Agents use of excessive force in trying to stop a terrorist?'. As for the Debt Ceiling news, here's Ted Dexter and Cay Grahame...".

"Thank you Paisley. This is Ted Dexter. The Shut Down of America has made America a laughing stock across Asia, Australia, (and The Pacific region), of the South, the UK, Canada, and Europe. Even in The Middle East.

"The Republicans control most of the US Senate; President Obama is a Democrat. Like President Clinton, Obama's Presidency has gone downhill in the 2nd term. But, to be fair, no one can bring back trillions of US dollars that we owe Treasury; we can't pay. That is the issue; that is the sad truth. So, in short, in the future Gen Y adults could die early because there's no future in the US; Gen Next Generation will also die early, because no American boss in your respective job, can pay you. The US Treasury makes money to decrease the debt.

"But, in truth, America's paranoia over China is so palpable...that the strongest Asian country can buy our buildings. Yes, China now owns American buildings. Next, they'll owe whole cities...And, in the so-called 'Asian century', do we now have to bow to our Chinese bosses? Well, I won't! I'll make sure America is in the hands of Americans, not the Asians! And-".

And then the light board screamed a red color.

And then NY3 went into meltdown.

"Boy, Ted, you-". Paisley shook her head.

And then Tom raised his right finger at Ted.

He left his seat, then opened the door.

And then he knew his career was over.
