"NICE shot Jess! Now look towards Robbie while holding the flower!" Mhel, the photographer, instructed

On the other hand my bestfriend, Jessica is already struggling to maintain her look while holding her almost two years old son.

"Yes! YES! 3 more slides and we're done, kay?!" Mhel told her before pausing to change his lens while Jess gave me another tiring look which I answered with an apologetic smile.

Nagsisimula na rin kasing mainis ang anak niya sa costume nito kaya she's starting to have a trouble keeping him in his position.

After a few minutes ay nakuntento narin naman si Mhel sa mga kuha niya and declare a wrap for everybody.

One of my staff showed up beside me to ask if I would like to see the raw shots which I declined. Rather I passed the screening work to my graphics dept to show my trust on their eyes.

"So?! How does it look?! Maganda ba?!" Jess walk towards me after giving Robbie to his nanny.

"Humm... good enough?! But my team will still screen it. Trust me they need to have a major editing."

She gave me a Whatever look and proceed in front of the screen to see their photos.

I must say, my friend is one hell of a model and I will never forgave her for giving that up just to marry his now 'former jerk' husband.

"So, when will it be release? Diba nagupgrade na yung publishing house, so I'm guess... humm, next week?!" She merrily ask me pagdating namin sa office ko just two floors above our studio.

I watched first as her son, still in the balancing phase, walk towards my other sofa before answering.

"Excited much?, well my team still needs to complete the other columns so I guess early this second week? Don't worry, I'll send you a rough copy when the pubhouse send them."

"Khaay, uhm...by the way, diba it's your parents' anniversary this Saturday?" She randomly asked me

I nodded at her and open my Mac to check my email.

"Why do you asked?"

"Nothing, its just that normally they'll send me or my mom an invite but this year wala... Are they planning to travel?"

"I don't know, I never receive a text so I assume they'll just keep it simple this year." I shrugged

After we talk a bit and ate the delivered thai food ay umalis na rin sila. Jess is my former highschool bestfriend but eversince college and her marriage ay hindi narin kami gaano nagkikita.

My work also took much of my time. Di rin naman biro ang magpatakbo ng isang buong Magazine label.

I never trust a work that I can do already to any of my staffs. The thing about Magazine company is that everyone is busy, even our interns and security guards are on the clock just to make the gears move.

I was already checking the fourth contract that I need to sign when my assistant Andrea entered my transparent office.

She is briskfully putting another pile of papers on the vacant spot of my desk when I asked her.

"Did any of my parents called to tell me about their anniversary?"

"None of them called except with your brother." She continued arranging my papers

"Why did he called?"

"The typical, he's asking where are you and why you're not answering your phone."

I looked at her and move my vision towards the vacant office tables outside. Tumingin ako sa orasan to see that is already past 9.

"Let's call it a day Andy, umuwi ka na." I told her and she gladly responded by nodding at me with a rare smile.

We both left the office and say our goodbyes before disalarming our cars.

My drive towards my condo was a brief one. Sometimes, going home late in the city has its perks.

I was already parking my car when I felt my phone vibrate. I ignored it since phone calls while you're still in the basement parking creeps me a lot. (Blame those suspense movies)

So I turn off the ignition and run like a crazy lady into  the elevator.

I'm already half way through my floor when I felt the vibration again from my vest pocket..

Hindi na ko nakatiis kaya I got it and peek through my notifications.

"He sure do love me." I said to myself as the doors open into my floor

The lights through the hallway are already dimmed and the emergency lights scattered between the four doors are now opened.

I'm not that scared of this kind of things but there are something in this night that creeps me out. Still I gathered my wits and decided not to be a sissy.

I was about to go out when a silhoutte of a man came from nowhere and...

"WHAAAAAHHH!!"
