Chapter 4 - Ice-Cream

Hayley and I walked from shop to shop, Hayley almost had her hands full while I only had three things. Even Jason had bought more things than me.

Our feet were starting to hurt so we decided to go to the Ice-cream Parlor.

"What flavour do you want to get?" Hayley asked me staring at all the delicious ice-cream flavours.

"I'll get my usual."

My usual was Rocky Road, personally i think that was the best flavour out of all of them.

"What about you Jason? Jason?" Hayley asked Jason but he was no where to be seen.

As Hayley looked for Jason in the Parlor I went to order my ice-cream.

When I was done I helped Hayley search for him.

We walked out of the Parlor and spotted Jason talking to Kayla. What! Oh no now she is flirting with him and smiling all sweetly. Ugh! She just touched him! On the arm!

Not that i'm jealous, nooo way. I just care for Jason and don't want him to fall in love with a slut.

I furiously walked over to him, Hayley behind me. I was about to reach Jason until a tall figure stood over me. He had beautiful golden hair, muscles and a smile that girls would die for. I stopped, nearly running into his chest. I could smell his, well, smell, and it was nice.

I looked up and saw that it was, Liam Carne, the most hot popular guy in the school. He had a mischevious smirk on his face.

"Hey" he said in a low sexy voice.

"H-hey" I stuttered nervously.

I turned to Hayley who winked at me and walked off to Jason.

"So, I saw your photo" he said coming a centimetre closer.

"Yeah, I saw you liked it"

"I did" he smirked again, coming one more centimetre closer. "You're hotter than I thought".

"Uh, thanks" I said quietly looking down.

I took a tiny step back, making just a little space between us.

"Liam! Come here!" I heard Kayla call out to him, looking jealous.

"Well, see you around Amelia" He said walking off giving me on of those little head flicks while smiling.

I just stood there for about two minutes thinking about what just happened. Wow, that was the first time in years since he has talked to me. I can't believe that one of the most popular guys in my school has had an actual conversation me with, a very short one, but still.

I snapped back into reality and saw Kayla talking to Liam (probably about me) and giving me dirty looks. She's probably angry at me for talking to one of her boyfriends.

Suddenly i saw Hayley running over to me, Jason walking behind her.

"So how waaass it?" Hayley said to me, smiling like and idiot.

"Was what?" I asked, pretending like nothing happened.

"You know, talking to the most hottest guy in the school?"

"Um, good, I guess"

I looked over at Kayla and Liam who were at a table in the Ice-cream Parlor. Kayla was just blabbering on about something to Liam, he didn't look interested. Liam looked out the window and saw me staring at him and Kayla, I quickly looked away.

I slowly looked back at him and saw him staring at me, just staring. I started to get slightly uncomfortable. He was still staring. Why? Is it all because of that photo?

"Jason, why were you talking to Kayla?" I questioned him.

"She called me over and just started flirting with me, then she grabbed my arm and looked deeply into my eyes" he said blushing.

"And?" I crossed my arms.

"And then she lightly kissed me" he slightly smiled.

"Oh really? I thought she had a boyfriend, oh wait she has millions" I said sarcasticly.

"Yeah, I mean, she is hot"

"Whatever" Hayley said waving her hand dismissively. "Anway, come on lets take a photo of us and post it on Instagram!"

"Uh, ok" I replied.

I held my phone up, Hayley, Jason and I squeezed in to get infront of the camera.

Click!

I added effects and captioned it: Hanging with friends at the mall. @Hayles_2_Go @JayJay. Then pressed post.

It was 9pm and I had gotten 47 likes and 6 comments on my photo (Liam being one of them) of Hayley, Jason and I at the shopping mall.

I lay on my bed, staring at the ceiling until I saw my screen on my phone light up. I sat up and looked at it. There was a message from Liam. How the heck did he get my number?

I opened the message, it said:

'Wanna go out sometime?'
