Chapter 5 - The Date

My jaw dropped to the floor. Liam Carne, the most popular boy in my school is asking me to go on a date with him.

Over the phone?

Doesn't seem very gentleman like. I'd rather him say it face-to-face.

I didn't reply for a while. I had no idea what to say. Yes or no?

If i said yes, Kayla might bully me even more for the rest of my life because i'm going out with her boyfriend.

If i said no, Liam might turn on me and bully we as well because i rejected him.

Ugh! This is so hard!

I decided to call Hayley to help me with my decision. I punched in her number, it rang a few times before she answered.

"Hey Ame, what's up?" Hayley said sounding surprised that i called her at this time of night.

"Ok, so Liam somehow got my phone number and he just messaged me saying 'Wanna go out sometime?'" I rushed my words.

"What! Oh my gosh that's amazing!" She cheered.

"No! It's not! I have no idea what to say, yes or no?"

"Definitely yes!"

I sighed.

"I don't know Hayley, if i say yes Kayla is going to hate me even more and if i say no Liam might bully me because i rejected him" I said sadly.

"Who cares what Kayla thinks, she has all her other boyfriends. Come on Ame, go for it" she said persuasively.

"Umm,ok. But if something bad happens, it's your fault"

"Yay! I knew you would say yes!"

"Yeah yeah, whatever, bye" I said smirking.

"Bye! Have fun!"

I hung up.

I opened the message again and replied:

Me: Sure

I felt so confident for some reason. A few minutes later he replied back.

Liam: Great, how about we go tomorrow before the school week starts again.

Me: Ok, what time?

Liam: I'll pick you up at 10am.

Me: Ok, do you want me to give you my address?

Liam: Don't worry, I already have it :)

I felt a bit stalked.

Me: Oh, alright. And may I ask, where are going?

Liam: It's a surprise ;)

Me: Haha, ok see you tomorrow, goodnight.

Liam: Night.

It was 9:20am and I was getting ready for my date with Liam. I had a shower and when I was done I put on a pair of skinny jeans, a buttoned sleeveless blouse and my converse.

I let my wavy hair out and started to put on a little bit of make-up. I sprayed on extra deodorant in case I get nervous and headed downstairs.

By the time I did all that it was 10:00 and Liam arrived. I walked out the door and went to his black BMW. I could see him looking at me up and down through the windows. Oh no, I'm starting get nervous. Ok, calm down Amelia.

I hopped into the front seat, feeling the soft leather beneath me.

"Hey" Liam said, doing his sexy smile.
