Vic's POV
The first thing I noticed when I woke up, before my eyes even opened, was that my arms were empty and cold, devoid of my other half. A degree of panic rose in my chest. Hospital, my brain sung out of habit.
I shot up into a sitting position and my eyes flew open. No, I though to myself, I brought her home yesterday. Like I could ever forget last night.
Where had she gone?
I glanced at the clock which flashed 12:45pm directly at me. She never did sleep late, so that was one excuse. Just then my ears caught the faint tune from an acoustic of a familiar All Time Low song, Therapy. Was Tony already up this early?
I crawled out of bed and quietly set foot on my floor, pulling on a pair of shorts and creeping my way down the staircase. Instead of meeting the back of Tony's black-clad head, I was met with a brunette beauty instead. She had her back to me and had not yet noticed I came downstairs to listen. As the song ended she switched to an even more familiar tune of I'm Low on Gas And You Need A Jacket. She played the intro flawlessly with steady hands and began to sing.
It took me a while to notice that she was actually playing my guitar, and I couldn't keep the small smirk from forming on my lips.
"No, no more eyes to see the sun, You slide into bed while I get drunk. Slow conversations with a gun mean more than I've ever said to anyone." Her voice was crisp and melodious, and I couldn't help but lean against the railing of the steps and listen.
"So keep in happiness and torture me while I tell you 'lets go in style'. A million hooks around a million ways to die. Darling lets go inside, it'll be alright." I silently moved from the steps to the floor without interrupting her and moved toward the couch, chiming in on the last lyrics and singing them in harmony with her. I had to admit, she was good.
Startled, her hands silenced the strings and she glared up at me with a blush on her cheeks. I broke out into a grin as she set the guitar down on the ground with a huff. "You scared me." She muttered, still glaring at me though her expression was playful.
"Your playing was so good that I thought you were Tony." I complimented her and sat down on the couch with her, wrapping my arms around her small body and pulling her to me. Our lips met gently in a good morning kiss before she pulled away and leaned back against me into my arms. I wrapped my arms around her tight and pulled her back against me, cuddling back on the couch and forming a plan in my head I knew she wouldn't be too happy about, but her talent needed to be heard.
A few hours later the guys were all finally up and we decided to eat breakfast in the house today, which Evelyn and Cara volunteered to make considering the four of us struggled to use a toaster.
Before the guys entered the kitchen, though, I was able to catch them and drag them into the living room before the girls saw.
"How do you guys feel about going out to the boardwalk and doing a couple songs?" I asked. We had done it many times before, so naturally they all agreed with shrugs and nods.
"Time to get the word out then." Tony added, pulling out his phone and fiddling around for a few seconds. A few moments later my phone dinged with a Twitter notification.
"Good idea." I muttered, doing the same to notify the fans. I glanced over at Jaime who was beaming from ear to ear.
"I'm gonna ask Freya to come out. I want you guys to meet her." He sounded genuinely excited about us meeting his potential love interest.
