We walked into a fine dine restaurant. No, that would be an understatement. A really, really extravagant posh restaurant. I hope he's actually paying the bill because I really can't afford this right now. Not when I just brought enough for a day out with my absentee hamster, Retty.
"Hello, sir. Good to see you," an employee greeted Sev as he stepped forward. "Hey, Penny..." They talked for a while and that's when it hits me. Who exactly is this guy?
"Thanks," he smiled at her as he took a step inside. Then he turned around and gestured me to come in. I just stared at him wondering if he's a drug syndicate who wants to- "Well, I guess you're not starving then." he turned his back on me.
He invites me to lunch. Takes me to this insanely expensive restaurant. And then leaves me outside. How kind.
I bet he bumped me on purpose. He'd just hope those sunglasses of are pitch black cause if they aren't, his eyes will.
At the spur of the moment, my stomach growled. He just took one step forward and then stopped and looked back. "That stomach is so loud." I gulped. If he could hear my stomach rumbling.. I've no doubt he could hear my thoughts. "What are you waiting for? Come on in." I gulped again. "I-i-it's ..." I looked at the girl named Penny and hindered my lips with one hand. "...expensive," I mouthed at Sev.
Sev laughed as he walked back and took my hand. "Look. I invited you to lunch. Take you to this insanely priced restaurant and then what? Leave you outside starving to death?" I knew it. He did read my thoughts. This hot guy just read my mind. "It'll be all on me, okay?" he said.
I was going to gulp again as a response but I realized I that I ran out of saliva so I nodded.
"Good." He took my hand and we both walk into the building. It was huge. There were chandeliers on the ceiling and round tables covered in white cloth, topped with flowers and napkins. The lavish brown walls were decorated with paintings with hues that complement its color and there was a stage at the far end.
My jaw dropped. Sev's hand put it back up.
