Young Ben Solo made his way to the "secret" meadow that he and his friend Y/N had enjoyed every night. They'd watch the stars explode and the planets, the planets were their favorite part. They'd have a race to see who could name them all and the winner got bragging rights, because they were children... what could they possibly offer each other.
He popped his head out of the bushes and looked around for you, but you were already two steps head of his game, you were in the tree line just a little ways away from him, watching as he looked around nervously.
"A little game wouldn't hurt, he did after all win last nights planet contest." I said to my self in a hushed tone, I let out a small cackle and swung from one tree branch to the next to get to a better view.
He started running around nervously, looking into every bush and every tree top, on the opposite side of what I was on however.
"Y/N! Where are you this isn't funny!" He shouted , quite loudly might I add.
I think he gave up because as soon as he shouted that, he fell face first into the flowers.
I waited a few seconds for him to get up, but no sign of life. I better intervene in his pity party and self wallowing. I decided the best way to get him good would be to sneak up on him from behind(?)
I slowly jumped down from the tree and crept through the brush like no big deal, making as little sound as possible.
As I got closer I heard him mumbling, so I decided to get closer and listen in being the nosy little thing I am.
"What have I done? I've gone and lost her, I'm weak. Can't even protect the things I love, I'm a failure. I will never be able to go home, I'm weak as always."
"You're not weak." I said, immediately regretting it for I just blew my cover.
He shot up and a furious blush runs across his face.
"What do you know about being weak?" He says stubbornly.
"i know Enough. What I know more though is that you're not weak, far from it. You're the strongest solo I've ever seen!" I said smiling
"You-you don't mean that. Do you?" He says still a little flustered but not as much as before.
"Yes, now come on, we're going to miss the planets!" I say and take his hand
he'll always be strong to me.
