Chapter 4

•Ellie's POV Continued•

After our short shopping trip I had only ended up getting some new clothes for dance practices, but I got to know Beth and Vanessa quite well!

I told them about me having my own dance studio in the basement and we decided that if were were all going to use it we could all decorate it when it's the next holidays!

As we were walking I noticed there was a small cafe about 10 minutes away from the shopping centre.

There was a sign in the window of a restaurant...

Waitress/waiter wanted

Part time job with flexible hours

Hiring now

Yes this was exactly what I needed!! I knew it wouldn't be much pay but it could help fund for some of my decorating materials. I made a mental note to write very quick cv to hand in on the way to college tomorrow!

Vanessa turned off into a different road about 5minutes before I reached my house. As it turned out, Beth only lived around a minute away from me!

I rummaged around in my bag before finally finding my keys. I unlocked the door and went up to my room.

Just as I was walking through my door someone tapped me on the shoulder, I turned around to find Chase looking at me.

"Erm Ellie?..." He started, "Did you see any football clubs when you were out?"

"As a matter of fact I did!!" I said smiling "it's on my way to college so I will take you tomorrow if you want?"

His face lit up "YEAH THATS GREAT ELLIE!!" He exclaimed while embracing me in a hug. After he had finished hugging me he ran off into his room.

I turned around and walked into my room, grabbed my laptop and put together a very quick cv to hand into the restaurant! I needed to get this job to help me pay for redecorating my room and money to turn the basement into a dance studio. I printed off my cv and ran downstairs,

"MUUUUUUMMM" I shouted,

"Yeahh?" she replied

"I'm off to some restaurant to hand in my cv... They're hiring waitresses and I thought it would be a good idea to get a job!"

"That's great honey!! Text me when you're on you way back!"

"Will do!" I replied before walking down to the restaurant.

After a short while walking I arrived at the restaurant, handed in my cv and was already making my way back. They didn't even want to interview me or anything! They just said they would phone if I got the job! I grabbed my phone and sent a quick message to my mum

•10 minutes later•

I unlocked the front door

"I'm home!" I shouted, my voice echoing oh the empty hallway and walked up to my room. I was so tired from all the dancing and shopping me, Beth and Vanessa had done today that I just flopped into my bed and fell asleep.
