"Daddy" I rolled over on my side to get back to sleep. "dad, daddy"I open my eyes to Ava standing at the left side of me. "Yea booty butt" I said closing my eyes. "I want to get my hair done, I start pre-k in five whole days" she said excited. I little part of was me was happy that she was happy to start school, but than the other side was hurt because her mother wasn't here to send her off with me.
"Daddy did hear anything I just said" Ava said laying on my pillow with me. "Yea I Heard everything" I lied. "Okay so what time I get in the bath" I pick up my phone from my nightstand. It was 12 o'clock in the afternoon. "Ahh, 2" I said opening snapchat.
"How long is that" she said looking at my phone with me. "Four episodes of Liv and Maddie" I said. That how she know have long she got to get ready. "Take a picture of me" she fix her hair and laid back down.

After refilling 30 bottles of shampoo I was done for the afternoon. "Navy, I guy named Jayson is here for you" my coworker Kim said "who, I don't know or have a appointment at this time" I said cleaning up the last bottle. "Well he's here with a little girl with wild curly hair that needs to be done ASAP, no Rocky" Kim laugh at herself for saying that wack ass line. "Ha, her hair probably isn't that bad"
Walking back on the main floor I realize that he was Debby's friend. "Jayson" I said along up to them. The little girl in his arms turn and smile. "Hi cute, what's up with your hair" I laugh rubbing it. It looks like she just sleep on it without a head tie. "Ask my dad. He sucks at hair, or anything girly" she said. Everyone in the shop laughed.
"Dang A, how you gonna throw me under the bus like that" he said. She laugh "I just playing"
"Is there a special occasion or she just need her hair done" I ask taken her outta his arm waking over to my chair. He flowed, "I start per-k in five days" she said smiling. "And she needs something that we can just get up and go with" Jayson said standing over me.
She have really nice soft hair so anything that I would do would only last a few days, even if she tie it down. "Pre-k huh" I said trying to think of a kid friendly hair due. "Huh, I get to be with kids my ages and meet friends and play with toys and,and,and"
