*Connor's Point of View*

That dumb girl kept talking to me, so there was no choice but to answer her question. Our conversation was soon over because she kept asking me questions. Also, Matthew, Coleman, and I agreed to hang out while I was talking to that girl, Alexia.

After our conversation ended, I left the room to leave the house.

"Where are you going?" Rachel asked. I mentally sighed and mentally slapped myself int the face. Here we go again with the questions. Might as well answer her now.

"Remember Mathew that was in here earlier?" I asked, wanting to get this over with already.

"Yes." Rachel responded back.

"Well, I'm meeting up with him and my other friend, Coleman. We've all been friends since we were little." I explained feeling impatient.

"Oh. Well... okay! It's nice to be around friends! Have fun! Be home by 10:00-10:30 tonight.

"Here's my wife's phone number in case you need anything." Ryan said as he handed me a piece of paper. I just stook it in my hoodie pocket and left.

"Hey dude! I haven't seen you in forever!" Mathew shouted.

I rolled my eyes and said, "You just saw me like an hour ago! Coleman should be saying that now and not you."

"Whatever!" he sighed as I walked towards them.

"Hey Coleman! Long time no see!" I said. I actually started to feel happy again. Rachel was right, it's nice to have friends. I guess I've forgotten over the past and very long three years.

"Hey." he said then laughed.

"So, do you guys wanna go eat and then head to the mall?" Mathew asked.

Coleman sighed then complained, "You always want to do that whenever we have free time! But, since Connor is here, we might as well."

"I don't mind where we go at all." I said.

"Great! We're finally going to hang out all together since it's been so long!" We walked down to Coleman's house because he said he got his Driver's License. He's 17 years old. Even though Mathew and I are 16, he's only 17 because he's a few months older than us. Connor is still in the same grade as Mathew and I. He hasn't got held back in school.

We arrived at the L.A Mall which is located in the city. The new family that I'm with kinda lives in the more suburbs area, so it took about 30 minutes to get there.

I checked the time on my phone as we walked in, and it was 2:30 pm.

"Hey guys," I started to say, "We have about seven and a half hours to hang out until I have to go back with my new family.

"Okay." Coleman and Mathew said in unison. THey both stared at each other with a like-what-just-happened kind of face. We all burst into laughter after their mini staring contest.

We decided to eat at a pizza place in the food court. Mathew was acting like a kid at the sight of it as Connor and I rolled our eyes at him. Mathew has more of a silly and carefree attitude, while Coleman and I have more of a serious attitude.

We ordered our pizza and it arrived about 5 minuted later.

"So, what school are you going to attend Connor?" Coleman asked.

"Mmm... Ms. Parks, my handler, told me it was Kennedy High School yesterday." I responded.

"Do you know your schedule yet? Or will you get it Monday when you sign in?" Mathew asked with a mouth full of pizza.

"I think I will get my schedule Monday. I'll tell you guys about my schedule as soon as I can. By the way, what schools do you guys go to?" I said.

"Oh! Um, Mathew and I both go to Kennedy too." Coleman responded as Mathew burped in my ear as loud as he could.

I felt annoyed at him already and explained, "Mathew, that's rude! Especially when we're in public!"

"Sorry." he said before he went back to eating. We finished eating soon and we started to walk around the mall. Since we really didn't find anything, we decided to go to a park. a few hours later.

We arrived at the park about 20 minutes later and got out of the car.

"I'll get the ball from the trunk." Coleman said.

"Why does he have a ball in the trunk of his car?" I asked.

"Sometimes when Coleman and I hang out, we always end up in a park or in a field playing a game that involves a ball." Mathew explained.

"Oh." I said. Coleman got the ball and we walk into the park. We ended up in a field and we started to play soccer. It wasn't like real soccer where you have two goalies and a few people on each team. We just designated a tree in the field to be our goal. The goal was to score as many goals as we can before we decide to end the game. It normally ends up with no one keeping score and just have fun playing the game.

We decided to end the game about an hour later. We had a few breaks within that hour, but we were all getting tired and we all felt sweaty.

"What time is now?" I asked while catching my breath.

"Mmm... let me check. My phone says it's 7:10." Coleman said.

"What!? I'm supposed to take my anxiety medicine right now! Actually, it was supposed to be two hours ago! We never ate dinner! I have to call Rachel." I said panicking while pulling out her phone number. I fumbled with my phone and I started to hyperventilate. The last time this happened was when I was 14 and with my second foster family. Last time, I ended up in the hospital. Before that, I was with my first foster family and I ended up in the same place.

"Connor. Calm down!" Coleman yelled. After that last statement, I saw the world spinning around me and becoming dark.

"Coleman! Call Rachel while I call 911!" was all I heard Mathew say before I had hit the ground.
