Growing up Ethan & Calicia were always together . They were inseparable . Where ever Calicia went Ethan went & vice versa . They lived right next to each other so they weren't ever really that far apart .
* a few years later *
" Ethan ? " Calicia said .
" Yes Calicia . " Ethan said .
" You're my best friend right ? "
" Of course . Why wouldn't we be ? "
" I don't know I just wanna make sure . "
" We're best friends no matter what ❤ . "
* the first day in school *
It was Calicia & Ethan's first day of 5th grade .
" Ethan I'm scared . "
" Don't be im right here . "
They walked into their class holding hands . Their teacher , Ms. Singleton , immediately separated them . Ethan on one side of the classroom & Calicia on the other . It wasn't a good day for Calicia but Ethan seemed to be making friends which made Calicia feel some type of way . As the school year went on Calicia & Ethan still talked how they always were . It was finally the end of the school . It was finally summer .
" Calicia , I have to tell you something . "
" Yes Ethan ? "
" This school year a girl told me that she liked me . "
" Why are you telling me this ? "
" I don't know just thought you should know . Plus I kind of like her . "
On the inside Calicia was furious . Ethan was supposed to be hers & only hers . This summer was already started out bad . As the days grew longer & the nights got shorter Ethan was hanging out with the girl that he liked & liked him . Her name was Audrey . Calicia didn't really like Audrey all that much but she had to accept the fact that Ethan was growing up & people were gonna like him .
