i sat on her bed thinking about what i was gonna say to her next .
' fuck it ' i thought
" im gonna say it . " i said
" you're gonna say what ? ethan you're scaring me " cali said
" im gonna say what i've always wanted to say , " i started " you're the only girl i actually loved . "
" ethan , i ... "
" just let me finish . i never really knew how to tell you that i liked you . you were always here & i loved being around you . i felt that if you didn't feel the same about me i would've ruined our friendship forever . "
" ethan . get out . "
" but why ? "
" RIGHT NOW ETHAN !!! "
i started to walk out her room as i heard her start crying . i turned back around & tackled her onto her bed & kissed her . she kissed me back & smiled . it's like she wanted me to do it .
" you're so confusing & you've always been . " i said laughing & getting up .
cali started laughing , " yeaah i know . there's nothing you can do about it either . "
she walked me to the door & i left . didn't have to go too far since we're right next to each other . the only thing that kept going through my head was
' what am i going to tell Audrey . '
* Cali's POV *
' what in the loving hell am i gonna tell grayson '
* next day *
good god what am i telling him , what am i telling him , what am i gonna tell him . grayson approached me in the hallway . i gave him a hug & almost started crying . there was a lump in my throat & i couldn't tell him then & there .
" grayson i .. " he stopped me .
" what's wrong ? you never call me grayson . it's either gray or babe . " he said so concerned .
" just come to my house at 6 . " i said to him .
" ohkaay . " he kissed me on my forehead as i shed a tear . he didn't see it .
the bell rang & school was out .
* ethan's POV *
i met with audrey after school . i didn't reach out for her hand so she knew something was up .
" what's wrong ? " she asked .
" i have to tell you something . "
" oh god ethan , what'd you do ? "
" well i went to cali's house yesterday to talk about what had happened between you 2 & i ended up kissing her & telling her how much she means to me & i was just realizing all my feelings for her & i just don't think we should be together anymore . "
i saw her eyes start to tear up but they went away when she said
" oh shit . i was waiting for this bc i've been talking to your best friend grayson . he don't really love cali anyways . he stay at my house when he leave hers , " she started laughing " buh bye . " she winked at me & walked in the other direction .
i had to go home . that was way too much for me to handle . i got home at 4:30 . i saw through the window that cali was watching tv . i walked to my house & went straight to my room .
* Cali's POV *
i was sitting in the living room watching grey's anatomy . man i love that show . it was 5:50 . i heard a knock at the door . i got up & it was grayson .
" come in " i said leading him into the living room
" sure . " he said closing the door behind him & walking to go sit on the couch .
" ohkaay grayson . yesterday ethan came over here to talk about my encounter with audrey . long story short he ended up kissing me & expressing his feelings for me & i've had feelings for him all my life . that's all i ever wanted him to say to me . " i said while grayson started laughing .
" you dumb bitch . i was fucking around with audrey the whole time . "
i heard the doorbell ring . i got up but grayson pulled my arm & slammed me on the couch . i screamed hoping that he would hear . the door was unlocked so he walked right in . he saw grayson on top of me & me trying to get him off .
" GRAYSON GET OFF OF HER . " ethan yelled in a voice i never heard before .
he tackled him & started punching the shit out of him . grayson got up holding his face & walked out of the house .
" ethan thank god you got here when you did . "
" im happy i did too . "
ethan hugged me & carried me up to my room & laid with me all night until my parents came home .
