Owning a coffee shop in the family hasn't always been the most amazing thing. During highschool, I always had to help my family out. It got annoying because I just wanted to hang out with friends.

But I have learned how to deal with it. I mean there's a loop hole for everything. "Honey, I know you didn't look forward working tonight and missing plans with Christina but, this is very important to me and your father." Says my mother. I nod while wiping the counter. "I totally understand, have fun tonight."

I live in a three story apartment in Chicago. The first floor is the coffee shop that my family owns, the second floor is our living room, our one bathroom and our kitchen. The third floor is all of our bedrooms and bathrooms. Of course I have the bigger bedroom that isn't the master bedroom my parents have of course.

"If you need anything just call me or your father." Says my mother. For some reason the coffee shop seems dead tonight.

A young man walks up to the counter scanning the menu above me. "Hi, welcome to richans coffee shop. What would you like?" I ask. For some reason the young man can't stop staring at me. "Um, I'll have a Carmel frap."

"Is that all?" I ask. All he does is nod. Caleb, my brother starts to make the coffee behind me. "Your total comes to $4.75." He hands me the cash and I put in the crash register. "What's your name?" I ask. "Four." That's an odd name for someone. "Is that a nickname or?" I ask. He looks pissed when I ask him that. "It's none of your business." He says. I frown when he says that and he knows I'm offended.

Once the coffee is ready, I place it on the counter. "Four." I say. He takes the coffee and then walks out.

"What do you mean you wanna break up with me Ryan?" I ask. My boyfriend wanted me and him to go out to get some pizza. "I'm sorry, it's not you its me." He says. "But we were totally fine I don't see what the problem is."

He takes a deep breath. "I met someone else. I have been seeing someone else." He sighs. My boyfriend has been cheating on me? "You what? You have been cheating on me!"

"Yeah." Is all he can say. I grab the soda on the table and dump onto his head. "Fuck you!" I cry. I grab my purse and walk outside into the rain. I find a bench on a corner of a non busy street. I sit down on the bench and I cry into my hands. "Are you alright?" I hear a voice.

I uncover my hands and see the younger man that was a total jerk to me at the coffee shop about a month ago. "No, I'm not." I say. He sits down next to me puts the umbrella over the both of us so we don't get wet.

"What happened?" He asks. "My boyfriend cheated on me." I cry. I feel four rub my back. "I'm sorry, you don't deserve that."

"Four what's wrong? You seem upset." I say. He just shakes his head at me. "I'm not upset trust me."

"I know when your upset Four, don't lie to me." I say. I sit down next to him on the couch and I rub his back. "It's because I'm in love with you Tris." I sit breathless. "Your in love with me?" I ask.
