Becky & Jesse's Bundle Of Joy

Alex to the rescue

"Mama" says Alex as he walks through the kitchen doors. "Come with me please".

"Honey, what's wrong?" questions Rebecca as she holds her son's tiny fingers. They walk upstairs all the way to Nicky and Alex's bedroom where Rebecca finds Nicky covered in powder from head to toe.

"NICKY!" exclaims Rebecca as she attempts to carry her messy child. Suddenly, as she leans down, she looses her balance and BAM! She falls. "AHHHHH!..." screams Rebecca clutching her belly so that she can protect her baby.

Without hesitation, Alex runs to find his father. "Daddy? Daddy!" cries Alex as he desperately searches for his father.

"In here son!" yells Jesse from the kitchen.

"Daddy. Come quickly please" starts Alex tugging at his father's hand.

"Now son. Is this one of your little pranks?. Is Joey going to be behind the door?" asks Jesse. "Joey? Joey? You can come out now".

"Mommy is in trouble" replies Alex.

"What? BECKY? BECKY! BECKY!" screams Jesse as he runs forward a few paces, then coming back to his son.

"Come with me please" continues Alex. He leads his very nervous father into his bedroom where they find Rebecca holding her belly, tears falling and Nicky hugging his very shaken up mother.

"Wha-wha-wha what happened here" asks Jesse whilst cleaning his messy son.

"Well Alex came to find me because Nicky decided to pour powder all over himself. I slipped on the powder and next thing you know it, I'm on the floor" explains Rebecca.

Jesse looks at both his boys then at Rebecca. "Alex, that was very smart of you to get me when your mother was in trouble" smiles Jesse as he hugs his boy. "And for you, little rascal" adds Jesse tickling his messy son.

"Ah? Jesse? Help. Now." says Becky trying to get up of the carpet floor.

Jesse manages to lift his very pregnant wife. "We should go to the doctors. Just to make sure nothing is broken" he suggests.

"Ah Jesse. I don't think you can have a broken baby" confirms Rebecca.

Jesse and Rebecca soon leave to the doctors, leaving behind Nicky and Alex to look after Joey.

- At hospital

"Well everything seems to be normal. The baby is fine" concludes Dr. Evangelist.

"Thanks doc" replies Rebecca.

"Ar- ar- are you sure?" adds Jesse while studying the screen showing the baby.

"Yes Jesse. The doctor says she's fine" comforts Rebecca.

"What about that thing there? Or this here?" points Jesse.

"Jesse that's her foot and the other thing is her ear" smiles the doctor.

"Hun your just being paranoid" confronts Rebecca.

Pa-pa-pa-paranoid? Me? No!" laughs Jesse.

Rebecca and the doctor both look at each other and smile. "Jesse it's perfectly normal for a father to be worried about his baby and be a bit 'overprotected', but your daughter is fine. She is a healthy baby" confirms Dr Evangelist.

"Doc could you please inform Doctor Drieberg so that she is up to date with the current situation?" Questions Rebecca as she hops off the table and fixes her dress.

"Don't worry Rebecca. I've written it all down in the files, and once Doctor Drieberg is back at work, she'll be up to date in no time" smiles Dr Evangelist whilst holding the door open for Rebecca and Jesse.

Sorry that the chapter is short. I just had some of my major exams and I didn't have time to write much. Hope you still enjoy the chapter
