"You ready Bec?" asks Jesse as he scrambles down the stairs and approches his well pregnant wife.

"Ah yes let's go" she replies getting to her feet.

Both hold one of their sons' hands  and make their way into the kitchen area where a very focused Danny is preparing for Monday's interview with pop sensation 'Tiffany'. "Danny the boys are here, we're just heading to the doctor's now, we'll be back soon" begins Jesse as he lets go of  Alex's hand.

"Jess as much as I love hanging out with Nicky and Alex, I can't. Tiffany is coming on the show on Monday to promote her new album. Can you get Joey or one of the girls to keep an eye on them?" answers Danny as an agitated image is pasted onto his face.

"Well hello there Tan-a-re-noes!" beams Kimmy as she barges into the room. "I couldn't help hearing but looks like you two need a baby sitter. I'm your gal!"

Rebecca and Jesse hesitantly glance at each other. "No thanks Kimmy I'm sure Dj is here.... DJ!" screams Jesse as he awkwardly smiles at Kimmy.

"Jess, Dj is out with Michelle, and Steph is at dance practice" adds Rebecca.

"A-ha... Where's Joey" asks Jesse.

"He's at some comedian thing" adds Danny from a side.

"Looks like it's just me" insists Kimmy.

"Well we don't have a choice. And you did babysit that other time, plus we're running late" continues Rebecca.

"It's alright Mrs. Hairboy, I've got it all under control" smiles Kimmy.

"Thank you Kimmy" hesitantly smiles Rebecca as she walks out and to the car.

"Don't worry Mr. Hairboy, I've babysat countless times for my aunty Helen and her kids and they have only faced near-death experiences" waves Kimmy.

"Watch her" whispers Jesse into Danny's ear.

At the hospital Rebecca's usual doctor, Dr. Drieberg, is facing her own recovery from pregnancy and so her step-in Dr McIntyre is there. Jesse and Rebecca both sit infront of Dr. McIntyre who is studying sheets of paper with a faceless expression, and his usual frown. After what seems to be like forever, his mouth opens and his usual monotone voice begins to speak, "Rebecca, from the results that I have here, it appears that you have Gestational Diabeties".

Before he can continue, Jesse intertwines his sweaty hand with Rebecca's and says, "Doc you must be reading it wrong".

"First of all, you call me 'Doctor McIntyre' not 'Doc'. I'm not one of Snow White's seven dwarfs. Secondly, I know how to read results from a sheet or two of paper. Thirdly, I know what I'm doing" he confirms.

"Doctor McIntyre, what is 'Gestational Diabeties'?" resumes Rebecca.

"So basically, the placenta produces hormones that help the baby develop and grow. They also block the action of the mother's insulin, preferably known as insulin resistance. Because of insulin resistance, the need for insulin, while the woman is pregnant, is 2 to 3 times increased than normal. If you already have insulin resistance, which in this case you do, then your body right now can not cope with the extra demand forthe production of insulin, thus the blood glucose levels will be higher resulting in gestational diabetes being diagnosed" explains Dr. McIntyre.

Jesse and Rebecca both glance at each other sorrowfully. He sees that both Jesse and Rebecca are some what devasted and he tries to be as comforting as possible. "I can understand that being diagonised with Gestational Diabetes can be upsetting for the both of you. However, it is important to remember that the majority of women with Gestational Diabetes have a healthy pregnancy, normal delivery and a healthy baby".

"Is there any treatment?" questions Jesse still holding onto his wife's hands and rubbing one of her finger's with his.

"The treatment is simple. A healthy eating plan and regular physical activity. You will also have to be monitoring and maintaining blood glucose levels to make sure they are in the target range. Rebecca I would like to see you in a few weeks to just check up on you and the baby and to make sure everything is ok. Nurse Kathren over here will explain to you in more detail while I go attend to other patients" he adds as he shakes both of their hands.

Danny is practising his interview with teen pop-icon Tiffany with Joey as Tiffany. Just as Joey-Tiffany is about to answer a question, Jesse and Rebecca stumble inside.

"How was the appointment?" asks Danny as they both walk in.

"Beckys got Gestational Diabetes" replies Jesse as they both sit on the  couch beside each other.

"Something about the hormones in the placenta or something like that" adds Rebecca as she nervously holds the millions of pamplets the nurse gave her.

"Oh. I'm sorry to here that" says Joey.

"Anyway where's the twins?" questions Jesse as he gets up.

"They are upstairs with Kimmy and Dj" answers Danny.

"Kimmy is actually a good babysitter" adds Joey as both Jesse and Rebecca walk upstairs.

Jesse and Rebecca both peer into Alex's and Nicky's bedroom. Inside Kimmy has made them a cubby house and they are both snuggled up to Kimmy, fast asleep. Though everytime she snores, she sounds like a bulldozer, the boys don't mind it and enjoy their new babysitter. "Nawwww" cries Becky and she kisses Jesse. "Now that is cute".

"Alright alright" chuckles Jesse hugging his wife.

"We're definitely hiring Kimmy as their babysitter" says Rebecca.
