Becky & Jesse's Bundle Of Joy

Baby Shower Time

"And you got the balloons?" yells Rebecca. 

"Becky calm down". 

"I know I know. It's just that I'm so excited. The boys are finally going to be big brothers and we are gonna have a little princess---"

"You mean a rebel princess?" smirks Jesse whilst placing ribbons at the back of the Tanner's house. 

"I mean princess" 

"No-no-no-no-no. I'm pretty sure you said bikey chic". Rebecca swiftly turns her head and death stares Jesse. "---- hehe. Only ah joking"

"Oh Jesse! She's gonna be dressed in the only finest and beautiful dresses and skirts and bows and pretty pink shoes. It's going to be magical" smiles Rebecca. 

Jesse sits on the closest seat possible. Already he can imagine Rebecca doing this to his daughter...

Jesse's imagination...

"Oh Clementine!" yells Rebecca. 

"Yes mama?" 

"Oh won't this big beautiful pink bow that I bought absolutely go perfectly that big poofy pink dress that you like?" smiles Rebecca. 

"Won't this look good daddy?"

"Splendid" sarcastically replies Jesse.

"Where are your brothers Clementine?" asks Rebecca.

"Alex is practising for the big game tomorrow at school. They made a few changes with his mascot costume and Nicky is at chess club, practising for the champions tomorrow at school" smiles Clementine. 

Jesse proudly stands up, thinking he heard every single word that his daughter just said. "At least I raised my boys to be proper men" smiles Jesse. "My Alex is----is---". His mouth opens in shock like he's just seen Elvis.  

"...At practice" replies Rebecca placing the bow into Clementine's hair. 

"Since when is Alex the mascot? And since when is Nicky in the chess club? They were both on the football team".

"Earth to Jesse. Hello?" begins Rebecca waving her hands in front of Jesse's face. 

"Huh? Oh sorry, Bec".

"What were you thinking about. You just shut off like a computer".

Jesse quickly bites his tongue. He doesn't want to tell Rebecca that he doesn't want his only daughter to be a girly-girl. "Um, I was just thinking about us in the future. You know. Me, you, Nicky, Alex and little---".

"Shhh!" don't say the name. A million people live in this house. Remember?" smiles Rebecca hugging Jesse. 

Their faces inches apart, like in a romantic movie scene. "Her name is Clementine right?" says Jesse, breaking the romantic atmosphere and mood.

"Clementine?" says Rebecca jumping back like she's just seen a ghost. 

"Yeah as in the fruit. Clementine" 

"Honey. Remember our daughter has such a beautiful and special name. A name only a goddess will have" smiles Rebecca. 

"Our little goddess named---"

"Hey you crazy kids" smiles Danny placing sausage buns on the table. 

"Can't you see we're having a private moment here?" says Jesse. 

"Well should  I tell all the guests to wait in the kitchen while you two finish?" asks Danny. 

"WHAT! They're here already. I haven't cleaned the bathrooms or gotten Nicky and Alex ready and you haven't finished decorating and we both aren't dressed properly!" says Rebecca quickly pacing back and forth. 

"Becky don't worry. Joey cleaned the toilet, DJ and Stephanie dressed Nicky and Alex and Michelle and I finished decorating" smiles Danny hugging Rebecca. 

"What about food?" she questions.

"We did it all last night babe. Remember?" smiles Jesse.

"Ok you two crazy kids. Go get ready. I'm sure Joey, the kids and I can hold off the guests. Be quick though!" laughs Danny as both Rebecca and Jesse run upstairs and into the attic. 

"Buffalo gal won't you come out tonight, come out tonight. Buffalo gal won't you come out tonight and dance by the light of the moon" sings Joey as Rebecca and Jesse both enter the backyard party. 

Joey sings, Danny plays the banjo, Michelle, Alex and Nicky shake the maracas and both Stephaine and DJ be the backup girls. 

"Woo!" screams someone as they realise that Jesse and Rebecca are back. All the attention swiftly moves onto them and Nicky and Alex run to their parents. 

"Ok guys before the party officially starts, we wanted to do the gender reveal" smiles Jesse. 

Rebecca grabs Alex's hand and Jesse grabs Nicky's hand. Both are given one black balloon each. "3, 2, 1. Pop the balloon!" everyone screams. Both pop it in one go and pink glitter falls everywhere. "Yayyy!" everyone again screams. Jesse and Rebecca their share a kiss and a photographer captures the moment. 

"What's the name?" yells Stephanie. 

"Ok. We thought long and hard. We wanted a special name for her, a name we thought was almost fit for like a goddess or something" begins Jesse. 

"Her name is Taylor Florence Donaldson-Katsopolis" smiles Rebecca. "Taylor means internal beauty and that they are beautiful inside and out. It also means clothed with salvation. Florence means flourishing and prosperous". 

Overall the party was a huge success. Baby shower games and prizes, great food, lots of presents and of course the gender and name reveal.
