Jacklyn looked me straight in my eyes. I think I saw fear; I think I saw gratitude; I think I saw amazement.

I took a step towards my already cowering sister, she flinched back.

"Jacklyn?" I stopped and motioned to myself. "Hey, Lynnie, it's me."

"Your eyes," she said in a whisper.

"Wha-" I walked off to the bathroom. I jerked back, startled; my eyes were glowing and buzzing gold.

Jacklyn came up behind me. "What did you do?" she asked.

I shook my head, "I have no idea."

I turned to her, "Jacklyn I'm still the same. Okay, don't be afraid."

She nodded understandably. "I trust you," she said and she reached out her hand to my arm. "I know."

I reached my arms to Jacklyn, turning her around and tears started stinging my eyes; more scars kissed Jacklyn's skin

"It doesn't hurt as much anymore," she said, trying to reassure me.

Then I heard a big bang from the front of the house. Uh, oh.

"Dad's home," my heart raced faster than ever. I forced myself to forget my glowing eyes, and I dragged Jacklyn out of the bathroom. "Quick, get as much as you can in a bag. We're leaving," I yanked my old school bag out of the closest and dumped everything out, except my sketchbook and some pencils.

Jacklyn threw some clothes on as fast as she could, and began shoving clothes in her blue bag.

I snatched my digital and the rest of my coins and turned to the open window, with Jacklyn in front of me. Then I stopped; the dress. I reached for it, then hesitated when I heard father coming down the hall. I hurried and snatched the torn dress. I pushed Jacklyn out the window first and was half-way out, I turned back giving one last glance at my past and smiled. I jumped out, making Jacklyn run faster.

I heard a door bang open and my name being yelled, I laughed.

"Where exactly are we going, Trin?" Jacklyn asked running beside me.

I mentally slapped myself in the face. Where were we going to go? Then it hit me. "I have an idea. We just have to keep going." I snatched her hand and we ran down the dirt sidewalks.

For it being Durexon its the most earthy place I have ever seen. It's like a forest city. For starters, few cars were ever used by Two's. Most streets were dirt and old fashion, the way the Neutral's wanted. It was easy to find your way around Durexon, but sometimes you could get lost; especially if your not a Two.

I ran down a street named Asher and turned the corner and saw Viki's Coffee House. Relief filled me.

Jacklyn and I ran in together, panting. Good thing there was only three other people in here, regular customers too. I straightened along with Jacklyn.

"Trin!" Belle said brightly on the other side of the counter, with a large smile.

I fixed my hair and motioned Jacklyn with me. "Hey, Belle."

"What happened? You guys look like you just ran a marathon while running away from an axe murderer." I mentally rolled my eyes, the things she says somethimes. "Shouldn't you be in school, though?"

"Forget about school. Something big happened." I caught more of my breath, then attempted to make eye contact. "I need help. I need your help."

Belle looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean?" she dusted off her hands.

"I don't know for sure exactly what happened but I need help to lay low for a while." I explained. "Your the first person I thought to come to."
