"Sorry I'm late!" Ladybug shouted as she neared the top of the tower.

"It's fine M'lad- oof." Ladybug had overshot her last swing and ran into Chat, landing on top of him.

"Oops," she said, blushing as Chat chuckled lightly and then helped her to her feet. He tried not to get too flustered over this. I mean, this was technically their first date. Well, not really, but to him, it might as well have been.

Ladybug stood up slowly and looked around in awe. "Chat... it's beautiful," she said, smiling. He returned her smile and lets go of her hand slowly as she turns toward the railing.

Sitting at the edge of the railing is a small table for two that overlooks the beautiful city. The table has a white cloth laid over it. There's a tall candle in the center of it that sits next to a single rose in a glass vase. It looked like he had painted black circles on it and she giggled at that. There's also a fancy silver platter with a lid on it, and she wondered what could be inside.

She walked towards the two cushioned chairs and took the seat on the right side, looking out at all the lights sparkling miles below them. She smiled as Chat joins her, sitting down with one arm behind his back. She hadn't noticed until now that he had been hiding something behind him since she'd gotten there.

"Chat, what's tha-" Her face paled a little. Oh no...

"It's a present for you, M'lady," he said with a smile.

Ladybug looked down at her hands that rest in her lap, feeling extremely guilty and just awful in general. Chat is starting to worry that he'd done something wrong, but then Ladybug sighed.

"Chat," she started. "I can't believe you did all this and I just... I forgot to get you anything." She put her head in her hands. "I can't accept that gift from you until I get the chance to get you one. I'm just so sorry. I had it all planned out, but then a whole bunch of stuff happened and-"

"Ladybug, it's okay," he said kindly.

"No, it's not. You set everything up so beautifully and I totally messed it all up," she mumbled. "I can't believe I did this." Her emotions took over quickly and tears started to build up in her eyes. She'd already been overwhelmed by everything that happened with Alya, and disappointing Chat just made her feel even worse.

"M'lady, are you crying?" Chat asked, watching her with furrowed brows. "It's really not a big deal." He stood and walked over to her side of the table, reaching out to her but hesitating, not sure what she needed him to do. "I really don't mind."

"Chat..." she said quietly, then looked up at him with teary eyes. "Someone knows. Someone found out who I am. I- I wasn't careful enough," she barely whispered.

After getting over his initial shock, he kept his expression calm so that he wouldn't cause Ladybug any more worry. "I'm sure it was an accident, but who was it? Do you know where they are now?" he asked, looking at her sympathetically. "It could have happened to either of us."

"I guess so..." she said, looking away from him and out across the city again. "It was one of my friends, but no one has seen her in a while and I'm so scared that she won't come back. I think she's mad at me."

"No one could stay mad at you, Ladybug." He gave her an assuring smile as she looked back at him. "Especially one of your friends. Eventually, she will realize that you had your reasons for not telling her, and everything will surely work out. I just know it."

"It's a little more complicated than you know, but thanks." She flashed him a sad half smile. He walked back over to his side of the table and sat down again, grabbing something from under the table.
