"Chat Noir! Watch out!"

Ladybug quickly caught Chat's leg with her yo-yo right before he was hit with a stream of green acid. She pulled him up onto a different roof and grabbed his hand to help him to his feet.

He didn't let go right away and looked into her lovely, bright blue eyes. "Thanks, M'lady," he said with a smirk, still holding her hand.

Ladybug scoffed and turned her attention back toward the fight, pulling her hand out of his. The Akuma was essentially the definition of a mad scientist. She had crazy green hair that stuck straight out in all directions like she'd been shocked. She had an odd looking beaker in her right hand that was connected by a tube to a large container on her back.

She had crazy looking shoes as well that looked like they had some sort of floating device connected to the bottom of them. She also wore a long white lab coat. Wait a minute...

"That's Miss Mendeliev!" Ladybug shouted, remembering her science teacher who was never seen without her lab coat, and as if to confirm it the villain turned her way.

"My name is not Mendelieve! I am Miss Beaker now!" She said, taking her strange looking beaker and pointing it towards Ladybug. Chat Noir jumped up and pushed her out of the way just in time, but some still managed to hit her foot. They landed on top of a building next to them. Chat watched her with a worried expression once they'd landed next to each other.

"Ah!" Ladybug screamed, feeling the hot liquid on her foot. She looked down and realized with relief that it didn't affect her at all. It wasn't burning or anything. Chat looked at her right leg anxiously and slightly calmed down, seeing her foot was still intact.

"Wait a second... What can this 'acid' even do then? Does it only burn through metal and plastic? Not fabrics, then?" Ladybug wondered aloud.

Chat Noir shrugged and looked back down at her foot, still concerned.

"I'm fine, Chat, but we've still got to figure out a plan," she assured him, and he nodded, helping her to her feet.

Ladybug then noticed that the 'acid' had already disintegrated into nothing and quickly took out her yo-yo, throwing it into the air above her head.

"Lucky charm!" she shouted, and after a few seconds a polka-dotted parachute appeared at her feet. "What am I supposed to do with a parachute?" she wondered, grabbing the bag and slipping it on.

Chat shrugged again and looked back towards Miss Beaker, saying "I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the Akuma is stuck inside her beaker, so let's figure out how to get her away from it."

Ladybug nodded and looked around for some way to use her parachute while Chat jumped right into Miss Beaker's line of fire to draw her attention to give Ladybug a minute to work on a plan.

Ladybug looked at the roof, the beaker, and then Chat's staff, and immediately knew what to do.

"Chat, catch me!" Ladybug yelled as she jumped off the building, completely trusting her partner. Chat jumped as well, catching her and extending his staff so that they are high above Miss Beaker.

"I see you're finally falling for me, M'lady," Chat said with an impish grin.

"You can let me go now," Ladybug said, rolling her eyes at Chat's pun, and the fact that he was holding her longer than necessary. He smiled and let go, watching as she fell towards the Akuma, ready to jump in at any moment.

Ladybug quickly dove towards the villain and grabbed the beaker out of her hands with the yo-yo, breaking it and then using her parachute to get safely to the ground as the acid poured out of the container and onto the street.
