"Who would have wanted to break you two up?" Ricky pondered, laying on his back on his bunk. Angelo was sitting on the floor picking at his frayed pants.

"Anyone who hates elements dating other elements." Angelo mumbled. "Ryan's dad knows though so no one should have messed with us."

"His dad is a huge Fire leader." Josh spoke. Ricky nodded, rolling onto his side.

"How are your arms?" Angelo asked.

"Two or three more days then I'm fine." Ricky shrugged. "Maybe it was another fire elemental." Angelo shook his head frowning up at him.

"No. Anyone connected to Ryan's father know to not hurt me, and to protect me. They wouldn't hurt Ryan in fear of retaliation from his father. He's a very intimidating man." Angelo chuckled, shaking his head. "Most people are scared of Ryan anyways. They'd have to know I was dating him though because they told him to leave me."

"Last night, Chris asked me if I knew who you were dating." Ricky frowned. He sat up, jumping off the bunk. "On a completely unrelated topic, where is his dorm?"

"Across campus. You can't go over there. Someone will hurt you before you get close to Chris." Josh frowned. "You can't fight him either. You're to hurt."

"I'm not going to fight him." Ricky shrugged as he walked to the door. "I'm going to talk. Talking is a nice thing to do."

"I'm going with you." Josh sighed, standing up.

"No. Chris hates me more than you I think." Ricky rubbed the back of his neck. "Angelo, you come with though. I have an idea."

"Why can't I come?!" Josh exclaimed.

"Everyone out there hates you." Angelo sighed. "If I go then anyone who has a parent that works for Ryan's dad will protect us. They won't actually hurt Ricky since he's already hurt." Josh huffed, sitting on the floor.

"I'm calling Ryan-Ashley to entertain me since you won't let me play detective with you guys." Josh angrily muttered as he pulled his phone out. Ricky and Angelo quickly left, and walked as fast as they could across campus.

"What are you doing in here?" A ginger boy hissed, pulling Angelo and Ricky behind a bush. "You'll get your asses kicked."

"I need to talk to Chris. He might now what happened to Angelo's boyfriend." Ricky explained, biting his lip.

"Let me text a couple guys. We'll get you guys to Chris alright?" Ricky nodded, smiling at him. "Are your arms okay?"

"Yes. Please let's hurry." The ginger nodded, pulling his phone out and sending out a quick text.

"My name's Alan by the way." Alan smiled at Ricky. "Angelo, how was Ryan?"

"They broke his arm and he had a concussion with scratches and bruises everywhere."

"Which arm? It wasn't his writing one because I refuse to write all his love notes to you." Alan groaned. Angelo blushed, crossing his arms. He let out a relieved sigh as a guy and a chick walked around the corner. "This is Ashley and Nikki. Their parents for work Ryan's dad. They're trust worthy."

"Angelo!" The girl gasped, wrapping her arms around Angelo. "God I thought you got hurt too. Alan wasn't telling us shit."

"Ryan's dad told me to keep my mouth shut about everything. It was Angelo's option to tell you guys and he was too stressed at the moment." Alan mumbled. "We're taking them to Chris. If we run into any of the guys we make them come too. Angelo is not to be hurt in this process or Ryan will have out heads on sticks."

"I won't let that happen." Angelo sighed. "I'm the one who came here anyways."

"Doesn't matter. We were already searching. We thought it was one of the nature elements that had seen you guys in the woods or something. We didn't think it could be one of our own." Nikki all but whispered as they headed towards the largest dorm building with a fire symbol on it.

"The natures are basically a bunch of hippies though." Ashley sighed. "I can't go in there by the way. It's the boy's dorm. Send a fireball out a window out a window and I'll be in to help."

"It's like a months' worth of detentions if you go in there." Angelo shook his head. "You don't have to do anything if you're going to get in trouble."

"It's fine. You'll get detention if you go in there anyways." Ashley chuckled, shaking her head. "You'll be fine, but it's only an if."

"Okay." Angelo sighed. "Let's just hurry. I hate taking so long." Alan nodded, guiding them around the building to a back door. He quickly pried the door, the hinges squeaking loudly.

"Shit. Someone probably heard that." Alan hissed. "Get in now." The three teenagers scrambled inside, Alan barely closing the door. "Okay so there's four of us and we can't get caught. We're going to get our asses kicked." Alan sighed.

"We can stay to the empty halls." Nikki whispered. Alan nodded, walking to his right. "No one uses these stairs. The light doesn't work well." He snapped his fingers, a small flame forming on his finger. "Let's go."

Angelo kept close to Ricky, basically clinging onto his arm. He was scared of getting caught without Ryan. Ricky smiled up at him, biting his lip as he looked back down.

"This is his floor. Chris is at the end of the hall. No one should be out so we're running alright?" Alan mumbled.

"Alright." Ricky responded, looking up at Angelo. "Are you okay?"

"if you ask that again I'll cry." Angelo sighed. Alan pushed the door to the floor open, peeking through the crack.

"Run." Alan commanded, pushing the door open all the way and taking off down the hall. The other three quickly followed, staying close on Alan's heel. They quickly made it down the hall, Alan opening a door and heading inside.

"What the fuck?!" Ricky frowned at Chris who was sitting on his bunk.

"We have to ask you something." Ricky panted, bending and placing his hands on his knees. "I need to exercise more."

"Get out of this dorm. You're not allowed in here." Chris growled, pushing himself up. "Get out."

"Did you beat up Ryan?" Nikki spoke up, glaring up at Chris.

"Why does it matter to you?" Chris scoffed, walking up to them. "Get out my dorm room." Chris growled, shaking his hand to form a flame. Ricky took a deep breath, squeezing his hand as he covered it in ice.

"Ricky, you're hurt." Angelo quickly spoke, his eyes wide. "You'll make yourself worse."

"I'm fine." Ricky spoke through clenched teeth. "Did you hurt Ryan?'

"No. Why would I hurt my friend?" Chris sighed, turning from Ricky. "I'm going to ask again. Why does it matter to you?"

"I'm his boyfriend." Angelo whispered. Chris froze, turning to him. "He won't tell me anything and I know it's just to protect me. I want to find out who did it."

"It was Danny and his group." Chris shrugged. "Ryan isn't going to tell his dad because of the alliance between their families. Danny knew this and doesn't like you. He saw you and Ryan last night when he dropped you off at the midpoint on campus." Angelo nodded, looking at the ground. "Can you please get rid of that damned ice now? It's fucking cold."

"Danny is left this morning." Alan said. "He's went to stay with his mom for the weekend."

"It's fine. I know now." Angelo mumbled, turning to walk out. "I'm going to visit to Ryan. Don't tell him you told me Chris. He'll get pissed and I believe we both know how he is when he gets pissed."

"Everyone knows." Chris chuckled. "I won't tell him. You don't pull any stupid shit. Danny isn't fire and he'll kick your ass if you try anything with him."

"Plants don't survive in ice." Angelo mumbled before walking out.
