Draco and Hermione turn around in shock.
"Mother?" Draco looks at her
"Hello, son"
"Why did you do that?"
"Well she was about to attack this young lady here. I believe this is Miss Granger?"
"Yes m'am. I am Hermione Jean Granger. It is a pleasure to meet you" Hermione extends her hand
"No need for pleasantries, dear. Call me Narcissa. I do believe we will be family quite soon" Narcissa says taking Hermione's hand and pulling her into a hug.
"Okay....Narcissa"
"Would you like a cup of tea, dear?"
"oh yes please Narcissa. Would you like a hand?"
"Oh no thank you. I'll just ask the elves" Narcissa notices Mione tense and looks at Draco for and explanation.
"She supports S.P.E.W, mother. As in believes the elves should be treated equally"
Narcissa nods. "Draco dear, can you make the tea? I'd like a word with my future daughter-in-law"
"Sure mother"
Draco goes into the kitchen
"Hermione dear, I also support S.P.E.W. My elves get treated very well, they get holidays and I pay them every so often as well as let them wear clothes and allow them to leave when they wish. Draco doesn't know this though"
"Okay, your secret is safe with me Mrs... Narcissa"
Draco comes back with the tea.
"So tell me how you two got together and how he proposed"
They spend hours in the manor telling Narcissa about everything.
When they get back to Hogwarts
"Hey Mione. How did it go with Draco's mum?" George asks
"George, Where have you been hiding? It was lovely. She is really nice."
"Oh here and there. I just wanted to see how it went before I went to bed"
Paris comes rushing to Hermione.
"MIONE!!!! I HAVE SOMETHING I NEED TO TELL YOU"
Hermione laughs and leads Paris to the couch and cast a silencing spell so nobody can hear them
"GEEEEOOOOOOOERGEWEEESLEEEHKISTME"
"Slow down, what?"
"George.............Weasley............kissed...............me" Paris beamed
"Paris, that's great."
"Yeaaahhh" Paris mumbled unsurely
"What's up?"
"Nothing. I better go say night" Paris stood up and went over to George who was fidgeting with his hands.
"Hey, George. I just wanted to come and say goodnight"
"Yeah..no problem"
"So..... I better go -"
"Will you go out with me?" George said stopping her mid-sentence
"George Weasley, are you asking me on a date?"
"Yes, I am" He said confidently
"Then YES"
George smiled and kissed her lips. "I'll meet you tomorrow? Night"
"Night George"
George went up to the boys dorm and Hermione and Paris headed to the girls.
"Paris Muir, what was that?" Hermione asked once they were all settled in bed.
"What was what?"
"George Weasley kissed you.... again?"
"He asked me out, Mione" Hermione gasped "And I said YES"
Hermione squealed.
They then fell asleep.
