Chapter 20: Happy Anniversary!

Joey: Today's the day!! It's our 6 month Anniversary! But, where's Shane?? I hope his dad didn't do anything to him! (calls Shane but no answer...texts him)

Joey: Shaney where r u?? I hope ur ok! text or call me when u get this! plz! luv u!<3

Shane: He's gonna love this! (checks his phone and sees a missed text and call from Joey, and calls him back)

Shane: Joey are you okay? I'm sorry I didn't pick up. I was picking up your surprise.

Joey: Okay, I'm glad your okay! I thought something happened to you!

Shane: No I'm fine! Don't worry so much!

Joey: Okay, I love you!

Shane: I love you too! I gotta go, your gift is ready!

Joey: Okay, I gotta go too! I need to go pick up your gift too!! Hey, Happy Anniversary!

Shane: Happy Anniversary to you too!

Joey: I hope she's ready! I finished all the paperwork for the adoption days ago!

Shane: I still need to get the stuff for the dinner party tonight!

Joey: I couldn't be any happier than I am for today! Today is just gonna be awesome! Oh! It's already 12:30p.m. I have to pick up the dog in a half an hour! (Joey jumps into the shower, gets dressed and practically runs out the door!)

*At the Shelter*

Joey: Hi I'm here to pick up the dog I adopted.

???: Hello, I'm Sarah. Name??

Joey: Joey. Joey Graceffa!

Sarah: Ah! Here it is, for a Joey Graceffa. The vet will be with you shortly. Have a seat and wait to be called.

Joey: Okay, thank you Sarah!

Sarah: No problem! And by the way I'm single, here's my number. Call me sometime!

Joey: That's very sweet of you! But, I'm happily taken. Today's actually my 6 month anniversary!

Sarah: Wow! 6 months!

Joey: Yup, I'm adopting this dog for me and my boyfriend for his gift.

Sarah: Boyfriend? Oh! You're gay??

Joey: Yup.

Vet: For a Joey Graceffa?

Joey: Goodbye Sarah. Hi! I'm Joey Graceffa!

Vet: Okay, this way.

Joey: Okay.

*Back at home (Shane)*

Shane: I can't wait for tonight! It's gonna be so romantic! Even with all our friends...and my mom! (checks his phone to see a text from Joey)

Text: Shane if ur home go to our bedroom til I get there I have ur gift with me!

Shane: Gosh! I wonder what it is?? (puts the groceries away then goes to their bedroom)
