   It had been a moon since Echokit and Briarkit had been born. They both where very lively, always getting into trouble. Thrushpelt stretched his legs, and headed a desperate cry. He jumped up, assuming it was any Clanmate in danger. He looked around until he saw Robinwing inside of the medicine den.
Thrushpelt flattened his ears. Oh no...! Is she hurt?! He raced to the medicine den to see Robinwing was hurt. In her heart. He followed her gaze to see a limp brown shape. He gasped. "No.. Briarkit!"
Robinwing nosed the kit one last time. "He went out of camp and tried to persuade Echokit.. She finally told me, but it was too late.. W..we found him by a fox trap!" She wailed. Thrushpelt felt a pain in his stomach, as if he was experiencing Robinwing's true pain. Her first litter...
"We need to overprotect Echokit while we still have her!" Robinwing yowled. Thrushpelt looked at her, she had bags under her eyes, and looked tired and worn out.
"I think she should be punished." Thrushpelt meowed. Robinwing gave him a crazed look. As if empathy was no longer a feeling.
   "Punish her?!" She roared. "It's that stupid toms fault! My brave Echokit is quite innocent!" She snapped at him.
Thrushpelt narrowed his eyes. This cats gone mad... "Robinwing I-"
"You never cared about our kits... Or me!" She stood, quite furious. Thrushpelt sighed and left the medicine den.
The Clan was busy. Everything seemed fine. Leaf bare wasn't exactly a long time from now. The fresh kill pile was stocked to the fullest it could be. A surplus of extra mice and vole.
   He looked and saw Cracklepaw and Cinderpaw carrying a load of prey and herbs, giving off a strong scent. He began to pad towards them, but was stopped by someone a little unexpected..
