I kept my hand tight on his, not ever wanting to let go. The beach was quiet, only a couple of people there, walking their dogs. We were soon completely alone. The only sound was of the sea crashing up against rocks. We started gradually walking in a diagonal, towards the sand dunes, when I realised this, I got butterflies.

In my past dreams about this night, I’d never seen the guys face, since I’ve never really been this in Love with someone. I had a dream last night. The same dream I’ve been having every night I’ve fallen asleep, more so, after I met Jake. But last night, I saw his face. It was Jake. The dream had been the same apart from seeing his face. But it was better when I knew who it was. I looked up at is big blue eyes and smiled. Everything was perfect. Everything was amazing.

We were at the edge of the sand dunes, Jake tightened his grip on my hand and we started up the steep, sandy hill. One more step and we’d be up on the top of the slopes. “Ah,” Jake sighed as we sat down. He took off his hoodie and held it open so I could put my arms in it.  I smiled as he pulled me across the sand and tight up to him.

The sky was red and there wasn’t much of the sun left before it had disappeared. The sky turned navy and one-by-one sparkling stars dotted the sky. Jake put his arm under my legs and twisted my body around and lowered my legs on to his. I put my arms around Jake’s waist, my fingers bumping over his abs. I put my head just in front of his shoulder and blinked slowly. He put his arm around me, supporting my back.

“You’re so beautiful Cassie,” Jake whispered to my ear.

“Hmm...” I sounded sarcastically.

“Cassie, we’re not going through this again baby girl,” butterflies flew around my tummy and I giggled stupidly and smiled up at him.

“I Love You So much,” Jake smiled.

“Why,” I said without thinking. “Sor-“

“Wow, do you mind waiting the night?”

“As long as I’m with you,” I smiled softly.

“As long as you don’t disagree with anything I say.”

“Okay.”

“Do you promise?”

“I promise,” I said.

“Okay then, I Love your smile and the way your eyes sparkle when you do. I love the way you are the most beautiful girl in the world, how you blush when I say something. How you get excited when you see me,” He paused to giggle. “I Love the way you Love the stars and I’d buy you them if I could...”

As Jake had said, he took the whole night. I closed my eyes and listened to his soft voice speaking out through the silence of just the blowing wind. Jake’s voice started to fade as I couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. I woke up with a skip of my heart beat when I felt Jake’s lips touch my cheek.

“Are you asleep Cassie pet?” He whispered.

I didn’t reply: I wanted to hear what he would say to me. “Sweet dreams baby girl,” He kissed me again.
