Revenge

Riley and I were going on a date tonight I was really looking forward to it. We haven't seen each other in weeks since it was summer time and it's the busiest season ever. Riley promised he'll try and text me when I can and we are in a far distance relationship so I would understand. But he hasn't kept in contact with me in one month. I just hope he doesn't like someone else or find out he's cheating on me. Michael on the other hand is my ex but we are still good friends and all but I still love him. Me and Michael has been hanging out lately again and he said that he wanted a relationship with me again but I turned him down because I thought that Riley would be my prince charming my only one. Maybe I was right or maybe I was wrong. We were going to watch a movie at the Imax theatre and watch Finding Dory I always wanted to see that movie. And then after the movies we were going for desert since I already ate before he picked me up. Riley opened the door for me as we got inside of the theatre we were trying to pick our seats. "Do you want anything before the movie starts?" He took out his wallet counting his money. "A box of skittles would be fine and I brought my water bottle incase I was thirsty."  He got out of his seat and walked away the previews were playing it was a little chilly in the theatre so I put on my sweater. Three previews later Riley finally came back with the snacks and handed me my box of skittles. The lights dimmed and the movie started to begin, I smiled as Riley put his arms around me. I feel like during the date we should have a serious talk I popped a skittle In my mouth and looked at Riley. He saw me from the corner of his eyes and smiles I turned back to the screen. My phone buzzes and I forgot to put my phone on silent and turned my screen light down to check the phone.

Michael: How's your date going?

Me: I guess its' good so far I'm at the movies can I text you later?

Michael: Yeah sure have fun! ;)

I went on settings then turned my phone on silent. I put my phone back in my purse and continued with the movie. Some parts of the movie was sad so I teared up a little. "Poor Dory."  I whispered. An hour has gone by and the movie was over. "Thanks again."  Gets in the car and drives to the ice cream shop. We pick out our favorite flavor and puts on different crazy cool toppings. "Riley I have something important I need to say."  My stomach was filled with butterflies. "Yes?"  He looked a little nervous. "Why haven't you been texting me? I don't want it to seem like I don't trust you but I want to know the truth." I try and hold back my tears. "I have been busy and tired I'm really sorry I know I promised I would text you after work. But my schedule doesn't allow me to do that." I nodded my head. "But why couldn't you tell me that when I have texted you all this time before we went on our date, I just feel like your liking someone else and maybe that's the case. And it seems like you never wanted to have time to be with me anyway. I'm so stupid to fall in love with you! Go ahead with that other girl I don't care I won't fight over you." I get out of my seat and ran away. "No it's not what you think!"  I call a cab to take me home instead. " I come home crying."  I get a text from Michael.

Michael: Are you ok? You haven't answered my text at all.

It was one in the morning I wanted to be left alone.

Riley: Hey it's me can you please help me I think I did something wrong to hurt my friend. I'm really upset about it and you need to text her to see if she's ok.

Oh really? So he liked my best friend all along and used me to get to her. That's damn funny bitch, I responded to Michael since he is the most important person in the world to me.

Me: Yes I'm ok I was tired and went to sleep.

Michael: Good I hope your date went well.

Me: It actually sucked

Michael: Why what happened?

Me: Hey girl are you ok? Why are you upset with Riley?

Bff: Oh why would he think that? lol. He didn't do anything wrong with me.

Me: Oh he wanted to know if you were ok. He though he upset you.

Bff: Oh no I'm fine I'll tell him

Riley: She responded  thanks! <3

Me: What ever >:(

After that he hasn't text me so my assumptions was right so he does like my friend more than me. He's such a dam jerk.

Me: Why haven't you texted me in a week? Do you like someone else?

Hours later no response. I cried again, I can't let this ruin my day.

Me: Well he just hasn't been texting me like he used to so I'm through with him. I think he likes somebody else.

Michael: I'm sorry to hear that. Do you want me to come over?

Me: I don't know. I feel really bad right now.

Michael: I'll show him not to mess with you again.

Me: What? Michael what are you gonna do?

Michael: Kill him.

Me: Ummmmmm. Don't start any drama come over Mike.

After that I got dressed and wiped my tears away. I heard the door bell ring and it was Michael I hugged him tightly. "Oh Michael."  I cried in on his shoulder. "Why are you crying? Don't cry over him he should be the one crying."  He swiped his thumb under my eyes. "I'm not crying over him I'm upset at what he did. You really won't kill him right?" Michael had a serious look on his face. "No but I will hurt him, you don't deserve to feel like this."  My phone vibrates.

Riley: I'm off work, can I hang out with you today?

Me: Uh sure?

Riley: Alright see yah

Michael looked at the phone screen. "Why invite this nigga?" I rolled my eyes. "I don't know maybe so we can set things straight and he did say he wanted to hangout. "Not on my watch girl. I can't wait to see him."  He clutched his fist together, the door bell rings. Michael gets up. "No stay here I'll get the door."  I opened the door for Riley, Michael sits on the couch. "Oh hi who are you?" Riley looks worried. "I'm Crystal's friend, your her boyfriend."  He nods. "Yeah."  It was quiet for a minute. "So do you guys want anything?" Michael hated the sight of him all he wanted to do was knock him out already, "Sure, I'll have tea please." Michael made a cheeky smile, "Alright."  I skipped to the kitchen. "What's your name?"  Riley asked. "My names Michael, what have you done with Crystal?" I put the tea on the stove as the boys were talking. "Mines is Riley."  Michael gets up. "You didn't answer my question."  Riley was getting nervous, "Well she was consumed that's all. Why do you want to know? It's between me and her not you." He looks at his phone. "Well yes it does because I care about my best friend more than you, you sir made her cry last night after your guys date."  Michael takes his shirt collar and pulls him close his chest. "I would never do that Michael. Please let go." Michael threw him on the ground and got on top of him. "You are lying dick head!" Pulls his hair tightly, Riley covers his face to defend himself. "Stay out of her life! You broke her heart, I love her and would never do something like that!"  He slapped Riley then kicks him on tha nuts. "Ah!"  Riley covers his balls in pain.  I hear commotion and runs back to the living room. "What the hell? Michael get off of him!" I try to break the fight off but they're to strong. "No! I'll give him a piece of my mind like I promised. He should never ever hurt you like this again."  It's sweet of Michael to protect me but violence is never the answer even though I hate Riley's fucking guts.  He punched Riley in the face one more time as he is bloody and knocked out on the floor. "Michael!" I run to get the first aid kit to help Riley. I clean his face with alcohol. Michael carries him to the couch. "I love you Michael but please don't do that again." I hugged Michael tightly I felt him kiss my forehead. "I love you to, sorry I just hate when people do this to you. Your just the nicest person and doesn't deserve what Riley did to you," I kissed his cheek. "Yes, but violence isn't the way to settle things out." We held hands and we hung out at Neverland to cheer me up.
