One day I was bored so I decided to call Michael for a play date, we always hung out with each other after school but on the weekend we can't sometimes I never knew why. We were friends since third grade and never really went to his house or met his parents. Right now we are in the fifth grade and I was waiting for the school bell to ring. "Everyone pack up your things and remember to do your homework that's do this Monday and don't leave until the bell rings! Have good weekend class." I was gathering my school books so I can put it in my backpack. The bell rang and all of the kids happily walked out of the class door talking to there friends. I was passing by all of the classrooms. "Hey girl!" Michael approached as I was opening a bag of chips. "Hi Michael!" Hugging him tightly. He was wearing his huge brown haired afro blue jean disco pants and a  green sweatshirt. "Do you want to go for a walk after you drop your stuff off?" I smile widely. "Yes of course." We got on the school bus so it can take us home. Our feet marched to my house so I can put away my backpack and then we started our walk. "So how's life?" We crossed the other side of the street. "It's alright and busy what about you?" We sat on a park bench. "It's good I have a birthday party to go to this weekend." I swung my feet back and forth. "Oh cool whos birthday?" I smile. "Oh it's just another friends party that's all it's going to be at her house. So what are you doing this weekend?" Michael coughed. "I don't know my dad says we are busy this weekend." Michael lied. "Oh why?" I asked curious. "I don't know he hasn't told me what we're doing yet but we have to get up early for it. Maybe he wants  me to go somewhere important." I nodded my head. "Ok sounds fun." I say  in sarcasm. "Yeah." After we had our walk we came back to my house. "Hi Michael." My mother greets  him. "Hello." Michael shyly responds. "I'll see you later Crystal." Michael hugged me. "Ok see yah." Michael leaves walking back to his house. "Mom Michael left his book can I go to his house to drop it off?" My mom opens the door for me. "Be safe." Giving me a serious look. I knock on the door. An old man opens the door smiling at me. "Hello is this the Jackson house? I just wanted to return Michael's notebook that Michael left at my house. Is he here so I can give it to him?" The old man grimily looks at me. "Uh he's busy right now and just call me Joseph Ms." I looked at him confused. "Ok Joseph nice to meet you." Giving him Michael's book. "Tell Michael I said hi." Laughing nervous. "Ok Ms nice to meet you, good bye." I can here a little girls voice. "Michael! Where is the sound recorder?!" Janet noticed me by the door. "Hey Crystal what's up?" Joseph sighed annoyed. "Nothing just returning Michael's book." Janet called Michael. "Hey! Michael, Crystal came to return your book!" Michael smiles as he walked to the door. "Oh hey thanks." Taking the book from his dads hand. "I can see you met Crystal dad- I mean Joseph." Looking down smirking. "Don't play smart with me boy get back to work." I looked at him worried. "Your going to have to leave now sorry." Jospeh closed the door. "Well that was rude." I said to myself.
