CHAPTER 20

Jimin pulled up his tie and brushed his jacket one last time then he ran his hand through his neatly styled hair and each strand fell back into its rightful position. He grabbed his phone and car keys and headed out. As he started the car he dialed Kacey and reminded her of the meeting. "So if anything comes up just text me ok hun? Saranghaeyo. Bye" he said before hanging up and driving off. He arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before meeting time and grabbed his laptop from the seat beside him and stood up outside waiting for Taehyung to arrive. Not very long after, a medium height guy with brown hair stepped out of a black SUV. He had a black tablet in his hand and was dressed formally, in full black. He walked towards Jimin who was at the entrance looking in the opposite direction, and the guy tapped his shoulder and he turned around. "Oh, Taehyung." He said and looked at his gold watch. "Right on time." They gave each other bro hugs and went inside to start the meeting.
"So have you decided on a venue for the reception or do I do that?" Jimin asked Taehyung. "You choose." V responded and Jimin nodded. He opened his laptop to the notepad and began to take notes. "What's your host size?" Jimin asked, still staring at the laptop screen. "250." He responded. As Jimin typed up the information on his laptop, a waitress came over. "What can I get you gentlemen?" She asked politely. "Uh, we'll take two magaritas please." V told her as he noticed that Jimin was busy typing. "Riiiight." Jimin said, dragging out the I sound. "What's the colour scheme of your bridal party?" "Orange and green." V stated. "Why so many questions?" He asked and Jimin answered, not taking his eyes off the laptop. "Just answer them. Don't worry. By the way, what's her name?" V smiled before answering. "Park Jaemin." "Ok... Wait... do you have her picture?" Jimin asked and he finally took his eyes off the laptop screen. V smiled as he scrolled down the gallery on his tablet. "Surprise!" V said as he turned the tablet to face Jimin. Jimin's eyes widened and he looked at V, then looked back at the screen. He flicked his phone out and dialed a number. And the minute the person on the other end picked up he started shouting. "YAH!!! JAEMIN! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WERE GETTING MARRIED TO MY FRIEND? WHY??!!! YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME YOU TWO WERE DATING!" "Uh.. Mianhae Jimin. I just wanted to surprise you. How did you find out?" She said. "How did i find out? That's your question? We-" "Jimin don't " V said, cutting him off. He shook his head. "Well I can't tell you, congrats though." Jimin said before hanging up. "Bro you're getting married to my twin sister. I feel so weird. I should get married first. Either wayy. I need more info." V nodded and awaited the next question. "One last thing. What date have you chosen?" "I want to do it on her- your birthday next year." V said. "Next year? Thats far!" "No its not pabo. February. And now is November. You only have two months to plan this to perfection." And Jimin nodded in realization and typed one last thing before shutting down the laptop. "so what's been going on?" V asked as he took a sip of his drink. "Well..." Jimin began and the boys chatted and caught up on each other's lives.

"Alright. So I found this therapy on the last page of the book. It's our only hope." Jin said and the other doctors went to get Jungkook. A few minutes later they came back with him and Jin began to explain to Jungkook what they were planning to do. "When lactic acid builds up in the muscles, they contract instantly and causes a sharp pain almost immediately. The oxygen breaks down the lactic acid and causes a relax in the muscles. Contractions and relaxations of the muscles involuntarily might give them the right amount of exercise to revive. This isn't 100% sure so we need to know what you think first before we do it." Jungkook nodded. "I see. But I need to know what Kacey thinks." And Jin flinched at the mention of her name. Jungkook called and told Kacey and she said yes so the doctors decided to start the next day. Jungkook thought of telling Jin what happened the night before. He thought about it for long but he was too confused to make a decision.

Jungkook's Pov
Flashback
I closed his eyes and softly exhaled in attempt to fall asleep but my eyes fluttered open because I felt a tingle in my legs. Huh? But I can't feel my legs. That's impossible. I thought and tried to sleep again but Jessi shifted her legs against mine and again I felt it! What? "Jessi! Up now. I can feel it. My legs!" I said as I shook my girlfriend. I was too excited to be gentle. She woke up and asked me what happened and when I told her she squealed in excitement. "Felt that?" She said to me as she pinched my leg and thigh and a confused expression lined my face. "But. Just a few minutes ago... i swore I felt it. I-" I began but Jessi just smiled and told me it was probably my imagination. As soon as Jessi fell asleep again, I felt the tingle again. I moved my legs up and they moved... could it be?

He decided against it as his legs were completely dead in the moment.

"Chim Chim. You're Back. I missed you! " Kacey said as she hugged Jimin who was visiting her room. He smiled and hugged back. "Someone's happy today. What's up?" He said as he kissed her cheek. She dragged him inside and sat on the couch and put her feet on Jimin's lap. "And the love birds are at it again." Jessi said as she walked from the bathroom. "Shush. You slept beside Kookie last night. Be grateful!" Kacey retorted and the two silly girls stuck their tongues out at each other. "Right. So Jungkook called today. The doctors have a therapy for his legs. So we're going tomorrow. Wanna come?" She asked Jimin. "Yes of course. I have to go see mom either way." He said then got a call from his dad.
"Yes dad, you're back!"
"Uh- right. I'm visiting mom tomorrow. You should come."
"Great. And I need you to meet my girlfriend. She'll be there."
"No dad. She's not pretty. She's a beauty."
"Stop it daddy. You're making her blush. Bye."
And with that, he hung up and looked at Kacey whose face was now tomato red.
