Kim's POV
I woke up, I quickly got out of bed. I packed my bags last night and there they were seated beside my bed. I went downstairs, my mom was making some breakfast "morning" she said "morning" I replied sitting on a chair near the island "Ms Selman is picking you up at around 10:00am so that gives you at least two hours to get ready" she said while handing me a bowl of cereal. My dad grabbed his coffee. He was wearing his usual business suit, he sat on the couch and began to drink the coffee. I'm surprised my dad hasn't given me the whole "don't come home pregnant after this summer" speech he gives me that speech whenever I go somewhere with the possibility of having guys around. After my cereal I went back upstairs. I decided to take a shower because how about let's not smell nasty when I meet the family I'll be spending this summer with.
After the shower I chose an outfit, jean shorts with a white crop top. Wow I'm basic. I put my hair in a messy bun and wore mascarra. I decided to call Loren and have her come over since I won't be seeing her all summer. After I messaged her I heard a knock at my door "yeah" I said and Loren ran into the room and jumped onto the bed "hey rat" she said while pulling out her phone "hey flop" I laughed "so I'm not going to see you all summer, give me some love" she said opening her arms for a hug. If your confused on how she knew about me leaving, we messaged each other all night while I was packing.
I quickly gave her the biggest hug ever. We pulled away and she looked at me then said "so is he cute?" She asked "who?" "the Selman guy" she laughed "I don't know I've never met him" I smiled. We spent an hour just talking. Before she left we gave each other one last hug, then she went home.
I decided to go on my phone for awhile, until my mom shouted my name. I grabbed my bags and went downstairs "Ms Selman is here" she smiled. I gave my parents a hug and I left to Ms Selmans car. We drove to the airport which wasn't that far. When we got on the plane and everything was settled, I decided to talk to Ms Selman. She actually seems pretty chill. After that I drifted to sleep.
Let's just say I slept the whole plane ride. Ms Selman woke me up when we arrived.
We got a ride home, I almost fell asleep during that too but it wasn't a long trip. We pulled up to this house, it was huge "wow" I starred at the huge house in front of me. She laughed a little "come on let's go" she said. I exited the car and grabbed my bags. She opened the door, and as soon as we entered the house she called "Mario, Cat our guest is here" she shouted "coming" a girl came walking out of what looked like a living room "hey I'm cat" she waved and I smiled back "I'm Kim" I said. I turned to see a boy, probably my age walking down the stairs. He had brown hair, he wore sweatpants and a white shirt. Shirt twins. Oh my Kim you're so weird. He looked up at me and smiled "hey I'm Mario" he said when he reached the entrance "Mario can you take Kim's things up to her room and show her where her room is" Ms Selman asked "yeah" he grabbed my bags and I followed him upstairs "So, how old are you?" Mario asked "I'm 15" I said "cool, I'm 16" I just nodded. We reached a room and Mario opened the door "here's your room" he said "it's nice" I said as I admired the blue walls and big bed, there was even a bathroom and walk in closet "well I'll let you get settled in, my room is across from yours if you need anything and cats just down the hall" he said before leaving the room and closing the door behind him.
