Kim's POV
When we got home I was so tired, I just wanted to go to bed even though it was only the evening. I plopped myself on the bed. It felt like I just landed on a large, soft marsh mellow, it felt so nice. I heard someone knocking at my door "yeah" I shouted and someone walked in "hey Kim" I turned to see Ms Selman "hey" I said while sitting up "just wanted to let you know we're going somewhere kinda fancy for dinner so dress formal" she smiled "okay" I smiled back and she left the room. Well, now sleeping isn't exactly an option. I decided to take a shower, the warm water calmed me. It felt so nice. When I was done, I grabbed my towel.
Makeup and fancy outfit time. I quickly rushed to my bag. Yes I'm one of those people who don't wear makeup daily yet bring a bag full whenever they travel. I set my bag down and took out all my makeup. I couldn't decide whether I should go for a smokey eye or just somewhat gold eye shadow so I called for cat. Soon my door swung open, but it wasn't cat "Mario?" I asked confused "your naked omg I'm so sorry" he said while covering his eyes "chill I have a towel on, what did you want?" I laughed "I just came because I heard you call for Cat but she's getting ready so I came to check on you" he said while relaxing more "I'm fine, but I need your opinion" I said "shoot" he smiled while sitting on my bed "smokey eye or this type of kinda gold color?" I asked holding up both pallets "smokey eye" he smirked "thanks" I replied and he left the room.
I started my makeup, some foundation, I even decided to contour, then I did the smokey eye and put on some mascarra. I curled my hair then put on a tight white lace dress. I applied some red lipstick and slipped in my heels. Now I'm ready for this "Kim let's go" Ms Selman shouted "coming" I replied.
I walked out of the room with full confidence, I went down the stairs and saw everyone waiting by the door. Ms Selman was wearing a regular black dress with heels. Cat wore a light blue dress and some heels too. They all stared at me, Mario looked at me up and down, clearly surprised "you look beautiful" Ms Selman smiled "you both do too" I said referring to both her and Cat "awe" cat said and smiled. We all walked to the car "you look really nice" Mario whispered as he walked closer to me and I just smiled.
When we arrived to where dinner is, I noticed it's one of those fancy restaurants. We got out of the car and into the restaurant, it wasn't that cold, but it was pretty chilly this evening and the sun had just began to set. The lights of the restaurant were shining bright. We went inside, the place smelling like fresh food. People seated everywhere in fancy dresses and suits having conversations. Someone walked up to us, a lady with straight light brown hair wearing a plain white dress "hello, do you have a reservation" she asked while smiling "we do, we're the Selman family" Ms Selman said. The lady grabbed a book and looked thru it "there you are, follow me" she said looking up and setting the book down. We followed her to a nice, somewhat large table and we all took a seat "you should have someone take your orders soon" she said then left. We decided to grab the menu and look "that looks good" I said pointing to this salad. Soon, a man in a suit walked up to us with a note pad in his hand and a pen "what would you like to order?" He asked "Some soup please" Ms Selman said "I'll have the chicken and rice" Cat said "I'll have the Salad and the pasta" I also ordered "I'll have some salad too" Mario ordered "your food should be here soon" the man said then left "so I wanted to talk to you guys" Ms Selman said "what's up" we all asked "well, if you're wondering while we're eating dinner at such a nice place it's because I noticed you kids have been so focused on social media and your phones lately, so I decided that Tuesday we can go camping" she said cheering a bit "no please" "come on mom" Mario and cat began to complain "you guys are bringing attention, why do you think I brought you here to tell you here, so you can't make such a big deal in front of all these people" she said. They both groaned. The man came back with our food and placed it on the table "thanks sir" Ms Selman said and we ate our foods. When we were done we headed back home. Mario would occasionally look at me during the car ride. I just realized that he was wearing a suit. He actually looked really good in it. When we got home I went to bed, that was a long day.
