Georgia's POV
My body shot up as i re-gained conciousness before i screamed in agony and clutched my right side, just underneith my ribs.
To find it wrapped in a bandage that was underneath an all too familiar gown.
"Georgia! Georgia, calm down, it's ok. It's me, it's Spencer." A familiar voice rushed as i felt two hands on my shoulders, pushing me back down onto a bed i was lying in.
"Spencer?" I repeated, quietly.
I opened my eyes as i realized they were closed and saw the love of my life leaning over my bedside.
I laid back down as he held my hand, tightly.
"Yeah, it's me." He smiled.
A tear found it's way down the side of my face.
Not just because of the pain, but because i was alive to see him again.
"Hey." I whispered.
He smiled again. "Hey."
"What happened?" I asked, my voice raw.
He looked away and sniffed.
He was going to cry...
"I-I thought you were going to die. Abigail Parkinson shot you." He told me.
My eyes lifted in fear.
"Di-did you get her?" I asked.
Spencer simply nodded and looked down at our hands together.
"What's wrong then?" I tilted my head to the side, a little like a dog.
He looked up at me with slightly glassy eyes.
"Did you mean what you said? Before you blacked out." He asked, carefully.
I looked down the bed in thought.
What did I say?
"I can't remember what I said." I whispered.
He looked as though he was going to cry.
Crap...
"Nevermind." He mumbled before getting up.
At that moment, Hotch walked in with two coffees.
"Georgia. You're awake. Are you ok?" He asked as he handed a coffee cup to Spencer.
I nodded and looked at my now empty hand.
Spencer sat back down in the chair that had been put next to my bed and silently sipped at his coffee.
"Ok. I think we need a little word." Hotch said sternly and closed the door.
He grabbed another chair from a corner of the room and put it on the opposite side of the bed that to Spencer.
"I can only think of one reason as to why an agent would tell her colleague that she loves him. But of course, that couldn't be true, because couples on the job is strictly prohibited." He said.
"I told him I loved him?!" I practically shrieked because my voice had nearly gone.
Spencer and Hotch looked at me before Spencer nodded and looked down into the little gap in the coffee lid.
"You don't remember?" Hotch asked.
I shook my head.
"I said I loved you too." Spencer said, quietly.
I looked at him with wide eyes.
"Spencer..." I sighed and reached for his hand.
He moved it away before I could get to it and looked out the window behind my bed.
He had tears in his eyes...
"We need to get this clear Agent Borrowdale. Relationships aren't allowed. I'm sorry to say it, but it's true." Hotch was grave.
Spencer looked at him with wide eyes.
"You allowed Garcia and Kevin to be together!" He nearly shouted, making me look at him with a shocked expression clear on my face.
I looked at Hotch for confirmation on Spencer's words.
"I know. But this time it's different." He said.
Spencer scoffed. "How is it so different?"
"Because! They're not in the field and won't let their feelings get in the way of their judgment!" Hotch shouted.
Spencer's face looked as though it had just been slapped.
"We wouldn't do that..." I mumbled.
Hotch sat there in silence for a moment before speaking up.
"I'm giving you two one chance. If I think you can't handle a job and a relationship, one of you is going to have to leave." He said before getting up. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go. Morgan thinks he's found the brothers."
He got up and opened the door before Spencer got up to and followed him out the door.
"Do I need to come?" I heard him ask.
"No. You stay here Reid. She needs you." Hotch's reply came.
