In my world, the minute you first see the light of the world, you're given a wonderful shining necklace. This necklace is special and unique. However, there is one person, in the whole entire world, that has the other half of your necklace. Those people will be soul mates and their bond is made through two beautiful ornaments hanging from their necks. For example, I have a beautiful blue pendant with a silver moon and a glowing gold Chrystal underneath it.
One day, I will find a person with a necklace that fits perfectly with mine and to be honest, I can't wait.

I stood in the mirror looking at my outfit. White woolen sweater, black ripped jeans and some long brown boots.
"Well, this will have to do" I mumbled to myself.
I decided I should call one of my close friends, Laura.

Yes! She picked up!
"What do you want, Sky?"
"Oh, well, hi, i was going to ask what i should do with my hair" I answered ecstaticly
"Well, where are you going?" She answered
"Dinner, with parents and.."
"Oh my god! Seriously?!" She answered excitedly
"Yes, Yes!"
"How do you know him again?" She asked, being serious again
"Parents friends son" i replied
Wow that was confusing, even for me.
"Ahhhh, okay," she said," how about straight hair?"
"Sounds good!" I shouted back, I dont even know why.
Annnd she hung up.
I got my straightener out, and waited for it to heat up.
My light brown hair was frizzy and wavy. Yay, gonna change that.
I switched on my mirror light. My green eyes reflected every drop of light. It was 5:30, the guests were coming at 7:15.
About one and a half hours then.
I picked up my straightener and started straightening my hair.

As I was about to finish the left side if my head, the straightener slipped in my hands which burnt my neck.
That was fine, i guess, at least it's covered by my hair.
Nope!
Suddenly, my neck lets out an immense glow, shining gold and silver.
I immediately called Trevor, my best friend.

'TREVOR'
'Oh my god, my ear. Wait, are you okay?'
'NO, MY NECK IS FUCKING GLOWING FOR HEAVENS SAKE.'
'I'll be right over'
'Thank you!'
