on the sixth day,
delia was the one to speak first.
"park reminded me of you."
she blurted as i sat down.
i groaned, "it's because i look asian, right?"
she giggled and shook her head.
"no, it's because you're a nice person,
and you bring me books."
i grinned, happy that she'd found me nice.
"thank you, by the way."
she smiled shyly.
i felt like this was the first time she was actually talking to me.
"you're welcome." i said,
placing the spectacular now on her thigh.
and on that sixth day,
i didn't get up and leave.
sincerely,
