I’m in over my head
In a hole that you dug
And I can’t get out
You should have stopped
While up ahead
Now you walk away
With shovel in hand
Like nothing ever happened.
I claw, I jump, I scream
Nothing
Because you tell them to ignore me
Tell them that I’m fine.
It smells of earth and insanity
The walls keep crumbling on my head
Collapsing
Now I’m doomed
Just what you wanted
I’ll never get away
From you
No matter how hard I try
Because despite what we’ve done
We are one and the same.
We are me.
