Double, double, toil and trouble
What am I up to tonight?
Gutting pumpkins, carving faces
Stashing candy, made up places
None of which I’m at tonight
But in my mind I’m slaying dragons
In suit of armour turned to flowers,
I’m dancing in a fairy circle
Though I stop to take a sip of blood
From my victim’s neck
Back again to sit the throne
In the tallest tower
To practice spells and incantations
Then take to air with wings ablaze
Gliding above nations
To come back down, to land
Cheeks stuffed with sweets
Glitter falling to the ground, costume crumpled on the floor
Alas, the night is over, playtimes done
But when I fall asleep, it’s only just begun
