Remembering the things that have happened in the janitor's closet never fails to give Jimin a shudder. Fortunately, weeks have already passed and it never happened to him again. It makes relief wash over his system because he just can't help but always feel paranoid, always glancing over his shoulder, checking if someone's watching or following him. Along with this news, surprisingly, Taehyung's finally talking to and approaching him. Despite this, Jimin still happened to notice something off regarding his best friend - he's just not that typical Taehyung anymore who usually has his bright, rectangular trademark smile plastered on his face for he only wears a poker face all throughout the day; he's not as bubbly as before, always bouncing and just seem to radiate a positive energy. Now, he would just remain quiet unless spoken to; and lastly, he's not the usual who would fret over Jimin, always asking and worrying about his whereabouts - now, he just asks him once and that would be all. Saying that Jimin's fine with these changes is a lie. He misses his best friend so bad that he often wonders if he did something wrong. He sometimes wants to ask the younger what was bothering him, or what was wrong so that he could help solve the problem and bring back his old best friend that he just misses so dearly. But every time he does so, he catches himself stopping for he thinks that asking might actually make matters worse.

Weeks passed, when he thought that everything's alright again, the weight of reality comes crashing down against him. He really wouldn't just be left alone. As he was walking down the hallway towards his locker, he notices a bright yellow paper neatly taped on it. He looks around the halls, hoping to catch if the one who left it is still there. He then carefully and slowly approaches his locker, taking the note and reading it. "The game's about to start, dear. Are you ready for it? Always watch your back, yeah? I'll see you soon." A chill runs up his spine. He once again recognizes the familiar handwriting and it just honestly bugs him. He thinks of a certain person but immediately quells the thought. He trusts and knows that he couldn't harm him. Right?

He quickly places his things in the locker and speeds down the hallway, thoughts swimming in his mind. He's too immersed in his thoughts, pondering on who the culprit could be, that he fails to notice the person walking towards him. The impact makes him stumble, and just like every cliche story, he closes his eyes and expects the fall but it never comes. He opened his eyes and was instantly met with brown chocolate orbs staring deeply into his own. He then feels a strong pair of arms holding him close to the their chest to refrain him from falling. He takes a deep inhale and recognizes that smell - the smell of the man that makes his cheeks turn into a shade darker; the man that makes him sweat nervously as if he'd just ran a marathon; and the man that never fails to make his heart beat a little faster: Jeon Jeongguk.

"Sorry," he meekly utters, face hidden from Jeongguk's view because of his embarrassment. He's busy reprimanding himself about being clumsy, and always forgetting to always look at where he's going when he mistakenly glanced up at Jeongguk. Their eyes meet and Jimin swears that he saw something akin to worry dancing in the younger's orbs but just as fast as a lightning, it disappears and Jeongguk curtly nods in response to Jimin's apology earlier. The younger man lets go of his waist and walks past him as if nothing happened. Jimin sadly follows him with a sad gaze, and there ladies and gentlemen, you can now hear Jimin's heart breaking into pieces!

He composes himself as he resumes walking down the hallway, the straps of his bag clutched tightly by his hands. Tears inevitably form in his eyes, but he tells himself to not cry. He blinks repeatedly, hoping to stop the tears from falling, and reminds himself to not make a fool out of himself again. But as they say, tears are traitors. One by one, tears stream down his face. He actually didn't bother wiping it anymore for he knows that his efforts will just be put to waste - more tears will just replace them. It's just tiring, you know? Every time he crosses paths with Jeongguk, the other would just treat him as if he's nothing - as if they don't spend time with each other. But who is Jimin kidding, right? Maybe, he really is just nothing for Jeongguk.

As he continues walking down the hallway, seeing through his own blurry eyes, he spots a figure of a male walking towards him. He squints his eyes and tries to see through his tears, he recognizes the figure as Hoseok. The other immediately rushes to the younger and engulfs him in a bone-crushing hug. Hoseok cups his face, inspecting for any sign of injury. He scans Jimin's eyes, and wipes the nonstop tears that fall down his beautiful face. "Hey, hey, what happened, love? Does something hurt, hm? Talk to hyung." The younger only sniffles and once again hugs Hoseok. The former cries his heart out, his grip on Hoseok's hoodie tight and never leaving.

The older of the two sighs and continues to cradle Jimin. He whispers sweet nothings to the younger, hoping that his cries would subdue. Every sniffle and hiccup that escape Jimin's lips leave a crack in Hoseok's heart. He doesn't care if they're currently in the middle of the hallway. If his Jiminie's upset, he would comfort him. He actually would go to the ends of the earth if that's what it takes to make Jimin smile again.

As Jimin starts to finally calm down, Hoseok once again takes his face in between his hands, and wipes the tears that remain on the younger's eyelashes. "You alright now, love? Do you want to talk about it, hm?" The younger just replies to the older's questions with a small smile and a small shake of his head. "It's nothing, hyung. I'm alright, don't mind me," the younger one added. Hoseok meekly nods and lets the younger one don't talk about it. He takes Jimin's backpack and offers, "Want to go the a nearby cafe with me, Minnie?" The younger nods in response and shyly apologizes for the tear stains he left on the older's hoodie. They then walked hand-in-hand to the cafe, while sharing small anecdotes about how their day went.
