Zack, Kian, Jake, Lillia and Jay rushed over to me.

Yes, Jay put his phone down.

Oh wait no, it was in his hand

Zack clutched my ankle, "Are you okay?" He looked at me with pure worry in his eyes.

I didn't answer. I just found myself looking at Blakely and Nevla. Whispering in eachother's ears and giggling.

I didn't think much of it. Hopefully he was confronting her. But I was in too much pain at the moment to think about it.

🍬Zack's P.O.V.🍬

I couldn't believe it.

I knew Nevla was dangerous, but not this dangerous.

To the point where she would even risk someone being injured.

I didn't see her do it with Hayden, but with Luanne. That was enough for me to know that she did something to let her fall too. I was raging with anger and realised I was breathing heavily. My chest rising and falling. That moment I didn't care about Nevla. She wanted attention and I wasn't gonna give it to her. I'll deal with her later.

Everyone was gathered around Hayden, well all her and my friends- and most of the students. Except for Nevla and her 'followers' ofcourse. I examined Hayden's face and noticed her uneasiness with all the attention on her.

The bell rang answering my prayers. People were still watching Hayden, "Alright everybody, move, get to your classes." I said firmly to everyone.

No one budged but a few students.

"I said move." I said in a more commanding tone- deepening my tone, sending death glares. This time everyone scurried away until it was just me and Hayden.
Nope, wait, with Jake, Kian, Jay, Lillieis? Was it? I don't know and Nevla and Tina. Ofcourse. I didn't know where Blakely was, but at that moment I couldn't care less.

I didn't say a word, I just grabbed Hayden threw her over my shoulder and started heading towards the door.Hayden looked confused at first but just went with it. Everyone's stares were on me.

"If you go out that door don't try coming crying back to me." Nevla said nonchalantly. I froze in my spot. I turned around for a second to face her.

"Okay." I turned around and kept walking.

"You'll never find someone like me!" She shouted flabbergasted at my response.

"That's the point." I said back dryly without turning to look at her. I heard the guys and Lilloia? Luia? Whatever- laughing and even felt Hayden's chest shaking, showing that she too was laughing.

I didn't get to see Nevla's reaction as I was already out the door.

But I bet it was priceless.

"Zack let me down." Hayden commanded in a soft voice.

I hesitated for a moment but let her down slowly.

She lost her balance and we both reacted- her by grabbing onto my shirt and me by grabbing her waist.

"Woah, let's get you to the nurse." I said.

"No, no, I'm fine really." She said and I'm pretty sure it was a lie.

"You can tell me if you're hurt, it's okay." I reassured her still holding onto her waist. She noticed the position we were in and awkwardly unraveled herself from me.

She touched her ankle, "It's a bit bruised my fine." She stated.

"Okay wait here, I'll go to the nurse and get a bandage, since you don't want anyone to know, otherwise we'll seem sketchy with you over my shoulder." I said in one breath.

"But I can walk."

"No," I answered almost immediately, "I don't want you to worsen the pain. Stay here." I finished.

She nodded.

I walked over to the janitor's closet to get a bandage for Hayden, dodging a few teachers.

What met my eyes next, was beyond words. Through the small plastic see-through thingy through the door, I saw Blakely and Nevla making out.

I couldn't believe that liar.
I mean Nevla, nothing new, but Blakely. Hmph. He told me he cared for her, that him and her were 'pretty solid'. He tells her that he loves her. But that was clear to be all a lie. Suddenly the anger in me raged. My body tensed, I was breathing hard, my fists were balled up. I should have known. How could I have been so oblivious? Those stupid smirks he gives me, the times he and Nevla both missed classes, walking out the the janitor's closet.

For pizza's sake how could I have been so stupid?

What made it worse is that he was doing it to Hayden. The girl I loved. The girl I freaking craved since the day I broke into the damn bedroom, stole her pizza and told her she had a nice room and a nice freaking appearence. I couldn't believe it. I trusted him with her.

But you know what?

I wasn't going to tell Hayden. Not right now atleast. I have more things to worry about like her ankle. See, I'm this naturally agressive guy, who isn't afraid to break into fights anytime of the day, but she softened me whenever I was with her and instead of wasting time fighting with them I just walked in, acted like I didn't notice them, and walk out as if I hadn't seen a thing.

You know when you fall in love with someone and no one else really matters? The littlest things they do can either make your heart melt, or can rip apart your insides. You wouldn't let anyone touch a single hair of theirs.
Being with that person makes your legs go numb- literally. Lying to that person makes your heart beat faster, being afraid of the consequences of them finding out. But you know they will because they know you and you know them better than anyone else in such a short period of time it's freaking incredible.

I walked back to Hayden and tried to hide my emotions. I didn't tell her what just happened, because right now her ankle is sore and I didn't wanna make her heart hurt too.

I went up to her and didn't say a word as I wrapped the bandage around her ankle.

"Thank you, for staying even though you were gonna miss class." Hayden smiled sweetly.

"Please Hayden, I'm Zack Walker. I skip class all the time, infact I skipped class so many times I should be holding the world record for it." I rambled.

Hayden chuckled slightly.

There we stood. In the hallways. Just staring into eachother's eyes in the comforting silence. I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer, and hugged her. She gave in this time and hugged back. I tightened my grip on her. We hugged for a good 20 seconds before the bell rang.

I took her hand and took her out the exit. There was no way I was letting her stay at school. I drove us home- wait did I just call it home, I mean I drove her to my home- haha, and we stayed there for the rest of the day.
